Since water is drinkable, and it's good for health I stick to that only. And occasionally, fruit juice. What i find weird is that when i travel, where everyone drinks, youtube channels when talking about a place never skip talks of alcohol. Hotels and restaurants get shocked when they see i haven't ordered any drinks other than water. Is it that strange?! I don't want to damage my liver, is that too much to ask?! 😅
this is our first experience with Mark Ryden bags so can't say for sure. While this hasn't become my daily carry by any means, the times I've used it it has been great
Hi josh - do you know if they already started making the uberturbine covers for the 19” nova wheels for a 2024 Model 3 Highland or would these fit it? Thanks a bunch

Have been looking for a new bag and I like most of the features of this, but I really do NOT like having the main compartment accessed from the back. This design feature is a deal-breaker for me. 😞
horrible company with terrible customer service and policies.. This is nothing more than a paid advert from a crappy company who pays for good reviews...
I bought one so you don't have to, read my review from the Horizn website: If you are looking for a functional backpack as a nomad or frequent traveler, this is not the bag for you sadly. I initially bought this to match my 2x M5 cabin and 1xPro Model ST cause it had the strap to fit on top, i was a bit reluctant about the high price and with that in mind, I must say I am disappointed. The three other Horizon Products I own I am really happy with, but this new backpack is a huge letdown. So many flaws in the design, it is unbelievable with the price tag, compared to other outdoor brands with crossover to nomad packs. - Only bottles of 400ml can fit in one of the side pockets. I can live with that, and zippers here work, though only 1 zipper from one side, is placed so if you hang on one shoulder you can reach with one hand and open. Not ideal, but ok. - zippers are impossible to close unless 100% straight for the laptop department. This works a little bit better if you leave it in the detachable metal brace, I did that on my second trip. - The straps on the shoulders are super tight, and can't be tightened or loosed while having the pack on my back, not even when using full force with two hands. They can also just be adjusted very slightly at a time because of the small green fixed strap holding the excess fabric on, making it almost impossible to adjust on the go as you take stuff in/out of the bag for use, and want to use it for something else. I thought it would get looser over time, did not happen. - no chest strap - why? I have it loaded with 7kg now and all the weight is on the edge of my shoulders, i really sucked on the whole duration of my first trip. I then invested in a universal chest strap myself for 10€ that does not match the design, which does not work ideally but helps a bit. Should at least design one you could offer to people who have bought this. - The shoulder straps are just too short for a normal person (I am 173cm tall, 64kg) (see pictures), they sit in your armpit making the back very uncomfortable to carry if you are only wearing a t-shirt or have it loaded with 7kg - Why this cartoonish big Horizn logo on the bag, instead of none or a small stylish one? - The logo strip on the front is stitched on each end, but glued on in the middle, it is now loose just after 2 weekends of use. - Heavyweight material, eats up your cabin allowance, 700-800g higher than a similar Tight Pro Häglöfs Large - The keychain holder easily falls off its place by itself, especially if accessing the compartment why on one shoulder on the go. Now I have carabine there instead, but I mean come one? For 360€ with many basic design flaws is a rip-off, this is more a designer bag than a functional one. If I could return this I would, and to the rest of you looking for a digital nomad-style backpack, please avoid this and hopefully Horizon can make the next version of this backpack match the quality of the rest of their products. You can buy 3x North Face Borealis Classic Backpacks to this price that are 3x times as functional, durable, and adjustable.
I bought a CX405 but not because of this review. I bought it because it was the cheapest real video camera made by a serious manufacturer. It would have helped if FedEx had not broken it. The replacement should be better. The key point is we're making videos on youtube and camcorders make videos. Stills cameras don't make good videos.
@@LocalAdventurerTravel Oh, the videos will be up on my channel. Next thing I need to do is to use my Olympus digital audio recorder to pair with it. That way I can get around the no external microphone input.
In 2024 ..if you were going to document travels outdoors on a bicycle in all kinds of weather and light, wanted good stills AND video for vlogging, nature, slow motion, time lapse or WHATEVER ...what hybrid camera would you choose? A camcorder like a Panasonic vx981? Sony FX3000 or cx405? DJI Osmo Pocket 3 or Action 4? Olympus Tracker? A camera like Lumix G9ii, s5iix, GX8? an OM system TG7, OM1 ii, EM1X, EM5? Fuji xh2s, xs-20? Sony A7S iii, zv1, gx100v, Xperia IV phone? Nikon ZF? Osmo Action4? a pocket3? A bridge camera like the Sony RX10 iv? Lumix FZ2500? A digital back medium format film camera? Canon C100? A 1 inch sensor phone (Android) like Sony Xperia 1 iv, Huawei P40, RedMagic, OnePlus, Oppo, Samsung, Asus? ...like what's the best swiss army knife camera you can think of that’s fun, mobile, with good weatherproofing and battery life? Could you get a decent value device for each function and come out ahead for less money without having tons of extra gear? There are so many options and nothing is a standout (or perfect). All I want is the perfect camera.
I have bought the Sony HDR-CX405 almost 5 years ago! At that time it was very cheap and the cheapest among these camcorders. I still was not sure about my choice, but now I would definitely go again with the Sony. More natural image quality, better low light performance, better zoom, stabilization and better sound. The overall design looks better too. The only downside is no on/off button. Once you open up the screen to remove the sd card, you cannot turn it off. Need to remove the battery first!
Of all the videos I've seen comparing different camcorders, you've nailed it spot on by showing proper comparisons and thus helping people decide. Although its May 2024, but yes someone might get interested in a standalone video camera for daily vlogging or some work related videos. Lovely video
I love that he is like... Buy this photo backpack Then pay extra for photo cubes for the backpack Then pay extra, again, for straps for the cubes I am clearly not his target audience.
Hi nice "specification" review of the bag. Just wandering have you actually field tested it? ie loaded up with camera gear & accessories. How doze it feels loaded up ~ ie distribution of weight on hips & shoulders. The harness look very wide but too short in length, the pouches for phone etc look like they sit way too high. If you don't mind me asking - how tall are you & your torso length. The bag looks like it sits on your back well. I reached out to Lowepro who advised this bag is ideally suited to Torso lengths of 15" ~ 18" I am a 20" so think it mite be too small. Any advice would be much appreciated. 👍
Needed more review and less reading of specs. This feels like it should be a two part video with this one labeled “unboxing and first impression”. Definitely not “the only studio lights you need” which just screams “they sent me this for free along with a script to read and suggested video titles”. Since you already have a set of lights you should have swapped them out to see how they compared. Maybe give an idea of your camera settings or lock them down so we can see the differences without the camera compensating for changes.
