Common market is good for businesses, for those inclined to start them. Some other benefits: *citizens (residents too??? I'm not sure) of any Mercosur country can live in any other Mercosur country(!!!).* Educational equivalencies established between countries (helps both professionals and young people still in schooling). Can I ask, just to be clear.. are you saying that someone under a pensionado visa, would be eligible to apply for a work permit once they become a permanent residence? Second part to that question is that someone on a pensionado visa can be eligible to apply for a PR after their second year?
Hello Jeffrey! Welcome, there is an option for work permit but it has to be evaluated under this new administration. Pensionado visa leads to PR in less than 6 months 👍
I know of people who have successfully purchased property the ways you are describing here. I currently own a home in Panama City, Panama. (I lived in Panama for 12 years and speak Spanish very well.) However, I tried to buy a piece of land a few years ago that was handled by a person who claimed to be an attorney. I actually got the deed just like I have on my house. However, I found out later that the signature was forged and received threats that I would be accused of trying to steal the land from the rightful heir to the property. I also had a friend who was taken for a very large sum of money by a non-panamanian living in Panama who dealt with real estate in spite of a panamanian attorney telling him everything looked in order. Be very careful when it comes to real estate in Latin America in general including Panama.

Hola! Las estudiaste en Panama 🇵🇦? No las veo en la lista como restringidas, la gerencia es administración lo que no es restringida y la Microbiología no esta en lista sin embargo habría que explorar si Biología es restringida o no. Se podría hacer una consulta formal a asesoría legal. Saludos 👋
