this is my journey to a bone marrow transplant .I have AML leukemia that came back after chemotherapy treatment that started january 2020 seemed to be cured until january 2021 blood test came back low.

Hi yes I have talked to him through text he’s halfway across the country from me but it was cool to meet him and I’m super grateful for his help! You have to wait a year or so to meet and they have to agree to meet. My transplant has been terrific, some things are different than before but no big deal like if I overeat I wake up in the middle of the night and throw up but it’s all good 👍 I’m very blessed and thankful ☝️ thanks for checking in and keep lookin up ☝️ take care !

Hey Bill! Thanks for the shout out and prayers. Things are going pretty good. Got to come home for the weekend again and only 2x per week dr appointments now. Still pretty tired, but doing pretty good overall.
Hey Bill! Seeing this the next day... I'm day +24, I think :) Still doing well. Guess I have CMV or something, so more meds, fatigue and stomach stuff, but nothing too terrible. For real everybody talking about locking the knees and I would come down with crippling pain afterwards. I started bending the knees just slightly and no more pain! Do whats best for you I'd say.
