Absolutely. But I'd argue that Cinq Don's Evade lowering her Sanity is the best part of using this ID. I'm tempted to use Cinq Don in every other semi-solo because of it.... Though in retrospect...I'd argue that it depends overall on how the fight is going. The passive actively lowers your Defense Level which actually REALLY sucks - the first few turns you match the minimum roll on the single coin Gluttony skills, but once the Canto buff gets rolling you can start to lose with tails on Evade instead of tieing, which is SUPER annoying. Cinq Don is just the best for this sort of thing anyway due to the fact that she can abuse Cinq Outis and Cinq Meursault's passives which are a HUGE boost to damage/clash/speed. Not to mention that Declared Duel makes it so that clashing is easier than it would be otherwise anyway. Yeah, Cinq Don's the best at this for sure.
That was actually so that I could avoid the 2nd stagger bar, letting me unload with double Salut on the next turn. I actually failed two runs before this one due to that exact situational overdamage lol...
Not too many actually. Borked a few runs due to my own mismanagement but otherwise this was rather smooth. Semi-solos of 7-16 are much, MUCH worse due to needing Don to die at specific breakpoints and/or be fast enough to catch the Sewing Thread. That said...I've already got a bunch of completed semi-solos that I just need to find time to upload (consequences of the 80 hour workweek @ 911 dispatch): - Cinq Meursault - W Corp Yi Sang - W Corp Outis - W Corp Hong Lu - still considering who to do after... Outis and Hong Lu were actually somewhat easier than expected due to Charge Barrier soaking up literally ALL of the Bleed, it's crazy.
Like I said in other videos - I mainly play at work on my Samsung Fold 4. The screen resolution is approx. 21:18. Edit: And no, recording at home isn't an option very often since I'm pulling nearly 70 hour work weeks and would like to tend to other hobbies when I get home.
@@3ndm3 No worries at all. Thanks for watching! I just get a little miffed from time to time that people seem to comment on the aspect ratio as much as the actual video. It's *technically* still 1080p resolution, only the aspect ratio is unusual. Just one of the of the hazards of using a foldable phone I guess lol.
Consistency mostly. 3 Sinners means two skills each and I felt you don't really need any more variety (read: inconsistency) than that. The final Sinner in a 4-man would mean the last two Sinners get only 1 skill slot each and that was something I didn't want. Hell, Ricardo's easily doable (relatively) with only one Sinner + Ishmael if you don't feel like going as far as soloing or don't have any good IDs for her. Ultimately, these 3 have decent synergy on their own as far as Sin and passives go. Don provides the extra Wrath to help activate Ishmael's passive and all 3 of them have Envy for Don's effects. And the combined Envy/Wrath Resonance allows Don to consistently get off a high powered S3. If anything, I wish I had chosen different supports lol.
You all will have a foldable too one day and you will LIKE IT. And you should probably get that checked out by a medical professional, that sounds like a quick way to Distort. More seriously, it's not the resolution - it's the aspect ratio. The resolution is still native 1080p, but the aspect ratio of my phone's main screen is around 21:18, which is closer to 4:3 than the more commonly used 16:9. Considering how thin they made the Galaxy Fold 4's front screen in order to keep both the screen bezel and the general width down...I don't doubt it will take a few more generations before the front screen begins to return to the size of a more traditional phone. Hopefully that allows for an inner screen that is a little wider than 21:18...It doesn't have to be insanely wide, just wide enough to record in something like ~13:9.
Thanks! It's really not as hard as you're thinking. It's mostly a combination of luck and abusing certain ID's passives. For instance, LCB Gregor has a 3x Gloom Owned Support that recovers 5 HP for the Sinner with the least HP. When you're soloing with a Sinner with Gloom skills, this is vital to recovering HP through simply Evading/Guarding until you're fully healed for the next fight. Actually, 3 Gregor IDs are quite good for this: LCB Gregor = 3x Gloom for 5 HP per turn Chef Gregor = 5x Lust for 5 HP per turn G Corp. Gregor = 4x Gluttony for 5 HP per clash won Lastly, as long as you're not using a Sinner with a Lust-consuming EGO, you can stack Chef Gregor and Ryoshu for 5 HP per turn and 15 HP per kill total. You just need to have enough starting Lust between your starting 5 Sinners to make sure it stays on throughout the run. You can do it, I'm sure of it! EDIT: Using Zwei Sinclair and LCB Meursault can reduce damage taken by a pretty large amount as well!
@@DeltafangEX Thanks so much for the advice! And that's that's almost my set up I want to do a Molar ish solo because she has good coins a good evade and decent sins but I can never seemingly get past floor 2/3 it also sucks that I'm missing chef Ryoshu but she's coming back tomorrow so yay! When I get her I hopefully will have enough sustain along with lcb muer and zwei Sinclair to finally do it it doesn't help at all she's kinda squishy
@@Radiance_Buer Molar Ishmael should be a pretty good choice thanks to the Evade. Normally, I'd say avoid all the Blunt nodes, as N-Corp is VERY good at bludgeoning every Sinner into a fine paste with all the debuffs and their high clashes. But Molar Ishmael has good resists in that department, though N-Corp can still very quickly overwhelm you. Good luck on sparking Chef Ryoshu! I look forward to seeing what you end up doing with Molar Ishmael!
@@Radiance_Buer Thanks, I'm working it! Work is a little rough (911) which slows down my ability to record/edit significantly, but I've been able to slowly grind out a W-Hong Lu solo over the last week as well. Was planning on uploading it before Season 3 released but "the best laid plans..." and all that. Not particularly excited for THP Gregor outside of him having a new 000, so I might not be rolling for him unless I somehow end up with a preponderance of his egoshards... LCCB Ryoshu however... Unfortunately, LCCB Ryoshu is VERY mid and will have an EXTREMELY hard time soloing MD2HM if its even possible without the most extreme luck for the following reasons: - Guard skill, practically every 00 with a Counter or Evade Defense skill is restricted from soloing MD2HM - Low clash numbers until at 7+ Poise. She's clearly meant to excel in longer team battles, so unless you can get early starting Poise EGO gifts on Floor 1, her clashes will be just "okay". - Only self-healing is on kill with Red Eyes Open, which requires both Wrath and Envy, which she can't fuel solo - so even if you start with the correct IDs to let her start with it, it isn't spammable unless you've got extreme luck with EGO gifts on Floor 1. - Starting with Red Eyes Open usable means you probably won't have G Corp. Gregor for healing + you don't have Chef Ryoshu for Lust healing on kill. - Unable to self-fuel ANY of her EGOs. Until she gets more EGOs, this is an EXTREMELY bad trait to have in a solo. - No Blunt EGOs. This is the worst offender imo, as you have no way to consistently AOE down N-Corp or TLA robot nodes, which are the absolute BANE of characters weak to Blunt as they are weak to Blunt and can also do a lot of Blunt damage. (Please let Dreaming Siltcurrent EGO be Blunt for Ryoshu, I"m begging you PM). So I might take her solo and turn it into a duo with LCCB Ishmael (or trio with LCCB Rodion as well). And whatever it is you decide on doing, I'll be looking out for it! Just make sure to leave a comment here once you've made something!
@KenopsiaDongbaek I've got a Samsung Fold 4 - the main screen is technically 1812 x 2176 @ 373 ppi. So while the actual resolution is a bit higher than 1080p, the display ratio is roughly ~21:18, which is always going to appear closer to 4:3. So there's nothing wrong with the actual resolution, but the display ratio is indeed quite..."square". It's actually pretty funny, because the aspect ratio is more important for the screen recording than the actual resolution - it just approximates it. The front screen, however, has a resolution of 2316 x 904 @ 402 ppi, which always records in 1440p Ultrawide no matter what, despite having less than 1080 vertical pixels. Again, the display's native aspect ratio is more important here: roughly ~23:9 for the front screen, which would be closest to the "standard" 16:9 aspect ratio. Or at least closer to 16:9 than 21:18 is. I COULD technically record games on the front screen, but what's the point of doing so when you have a foldable? It's also worth noting that while some games like Arknights are supremely optimized for ANY and ALL screen resolutions (even Ultrawide ratios wider than 16:9), Limbus and FGO do not like the front screen's aspect ratio and will display in 16:9 with bars there too. Plus the front screen is narrower than a normal phone screen by a fair amount. I'd rather play on the bigger screen tbh, but I'll experiment more with the front screen or Steam recording if that's what people want. I even did some testing with it earlier in the year, if you're curious: - Cover Screen Recording Test (Arknights): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e5pL9KENXmc.html - Main Screen Recording Test (Arknights): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tookcxAF0cY.html
Seems he is just as good as the skill preview suggested! And thank you for your concern as well! It's difficult to get proper time to rest when you work for emergency services, haha. Most of it is just my own poor decision making/time management though. - I play Arknights, FGO, and Limbus. The former which is running its semi-anniversary event. - November is NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) for me and I'm making good progress despite being slightly behind. - And I try not to think too hard about my movie/show/book backlogue. I'd rather play gacha on my phone during work because being interrupted to answer 911 calls doesn't destroy my immersion as much. Luckily, I find helping people is (somewhat) more fulfilling than it is stressful. Who knows, I might have an actual worklife balance in a few years! As for upcoming content... I've got W-Yi Sang's MD2HM solo all done, just need to compile and upload the clips. I've been trying to do a W-Hong Lu solo as well but I either keep getting Raging Bull as the final boss (seriously, fuck that guy why is he so strong???) or allowing Hong Lu to die when I get distracted. I was considering maybe doing a W-Corp only RR#2 clear but I don't think I have either the time or patience for that - especially with less than a week until Chapter 5's release. Thinking of maybe doing a "W-Corp World Tour" of all the major fights/bosses once Ch.5 Pt.3 releases though.
Hell yeah, brother! I've been meaning to do more vids for Limbus but work has been too brutal for me to do anything but sneak by. Maybe I'll do a Chapter 5 vid now that W-Corp has 6/7 members. All we're missing is now is Rodion. Hopefully, both Rodion and Meursault get a Charge EGO by that point. It can even be ZAYIN-tier for all I care, just something.
@modreamtubersansgaming6907 @modreamtubersansgaming6907 I've been watching my back ever since his first Charge video...I'm not gonna lie, this is a SUPREMELY strange feeling I'm having nowadays regarding W-Corp. I completely gelled with W-Corp's aesthetic and playstyle from the beginning (pre-Telepole even) when they could barely beat Kromer's dungeon as a trio, W-Faust was pretty mid and W-Meursault was just complete deadweight. Beating content as a trio was, quite frankly, upsetting to attempt. Then Uptie IV came and brought W-Faust and W-Meursault in line with where they should have been at the start. W-Don of course remained excellent. Then W-Ryoshu and W-Hong Lu came out and even though everyone only paid attention to Ryoshu for DDEDR memes...Hong Lu granted the team several more benefits than expected: more longterm sustain which doubles as an easily accessed/maintained method of preventing Charge decay, Speed normalization for the slowest units (W-Corp as a team has low average speed - especially Faust), and easier access to Gluttony/Wrath based EGOs with his deck setup. He's still a bit undertuned, but I'll just have to bet that's because Don and Ryoshu are so OVERtuned or hope they'll buff him a bit whenever Uptie V comes around (if it ever does). And here we are with Yi Sang next. Like I said, it feels VERY odd to have been stanning for a team that was significantly underpowered on release but has not only powerLEAPT its way up to the undisputed meta within a two-three month window, but will tie N-Corp for the first factions to have 6 total members. And we know were still missing Rodion. Unless N-Corp's 7th member is a θθθ (who knows?), then I assume that W-Rodion will be θθ and W/N Corp will set the standard for complete faction teams having only four θθθ IDs in the future (Sorry R-Gregor enjoyers, there's a 50/50 chance he'll be a θθ). As much as I respect ESGO...I've been playing W-Corp since launch and I'll continue to be infected with Stage 4 Terminal Charge Brain for a good while to come, regardless of how much more meta W-Yi Sang makes them. All of which is to say.... tl;dr: W-Corp did nothing wrong, mechanically and in the lore, and neither have I!🙂
@@DeltafangEX huh, detailed…Sadly for the W corp I only got Hong Lu and Faust …in any case I’ll stick with my 2 team of Rupture and Tremor if you don’t mind
@modreamtubersansgaming6907 Faust is actually pretty good at U4. She consistently performs well now, especially if you have her Telepole - which makes her skills essentially cost free and increasing their damage from anywhere between 2%-40% more damage depending on Charge. Don't mind me though! Build what you want!
huh im currently playing library of ruina and this video just showed up for me... quite funny since i did w corp reception few hours ago, didnt know limbus is from the same universe
Indeed it is. It takes place after Library of Ruina, but you don't necessarily need to have played it to enjoy. Though as you have only just gotten through the W-Corp Reception, you are now aware that W-Corp has done nothing wrong whatsoever and will continue to do nothing wrong in the foreseeable future. Please do not forget that 2nd class passengers waive their right to sue for any reason whatsoever. I hope we can count on your continued patronage, good sir. :)
@@__grimmkind__ Lovetown? What's that? I assure you, dear friend, that absolutely nothing untoward happens on our trains whatsoever. Why, you can simply ask any of our passengers! Most will attest that after our hardworking train attendants and engineers have made the rounds after each transit, the ride itself was quite forgettable! Haha.
