Very nice. You know what George Bernard Shaw said about this music. That it was the only music he knew of that would sound appropriate, coming from the mouth of God... I like to imagine God pottering around in his garden, working and singing this to himself. Good job sir.
It is funny and cute...😆👍😎 There are a lot of super great songs in those good ole days...I find new old songs all the time..🌹🌹 a lot of them in the 1920's and 1930's...
I didn’t have any restrictions growing up. Our house was filled with music as my mother played the fiddle and my oldest sister played piano and older brother played guitar. I’ve always liked the old standards but not sure how I was exposed to them. Maybe tv. Anyway some of these songs, such as this one, I’m discovering for the first time.
My mother was always singing and my sister and I took up singing too...always in school and stuff..my mother could sing so beautifully a first soprano but no formal training just her love for it!! My mom had said her parents said she was singing Oh Buttermilk Skies when she was two..I can't sing so high as she but I love singing.there are a few songs I am singing now that I just learned recently..👍😎 I love the classics but I also love bringing out the less known old songs.. I of course listen to all types of songs today but I love the classic older songs...
@@kevinbrunner1211 that is lovely that you had such a musical family..I never played any instruments.. My dad like to play his banjo and steel guitar.my mom loved the organ..I think if I would have played an instrument it would have been a harp..🌹🌹
@@kevinbrunner1211 I have to admit the 1920's are my favorite era. And the 1930's, 40's and 50's..I grew up listening to all these songs on the radio because my parents didn't like us listening to the music of the day..but it gave us a very wonderful appreciation for the classics...I also love to discover the songs that are less known..
