Rolling and cubes work great for me when going to the cabin for 2 weeks with my husband. Not worried too much about wrinkles. His clothes in one cube and mine in another are so helpful! I did the same test she did, and this way fit perfectly.
The strainer bag came in handy for me, when I made my homemade juices. I would blend all the vegetables and fruits and then pour into the strainer bag and squeeze it to get the best benefit of more juice.
I got my power quick pot from a removal service I did (not a moving service) and just now gonna find this thing out! I’ve had it for months and now it’s time to find out how great this rice & chicken turns out.
When packing using the KonMari method, instead of lining them up the length of the suitcase, try lining them up width wise. I also will usually turn them so the bottom of the fold is on the bottom (wheel side) of the suitcase. So they’d be standing up on the bottom of the suitcase if the suitcase was upright. (I tried to explain as best I could) 😝
I lost my power quickpot recipe book 😖 & wonder where I can find recipes specifically for it? I'm also wondering if Instapot recipes are compatible with Power QP? Thanks in advance for any help/advice!
I would highly recommend Peak Design's packing cubes if you're going with the cube method. They are more expensive, but totally worth it for the build quality and the features. You'll be less likely to have to replace one later on due to a zipper breaking or something like that. Thay've got good compression, and the tear away opening feature is far more satisfying than you would think until you use it. When buying packing cubes, one of the most important things to look for is the dimensions of the cube that will go best with your luggage and not waste space. I've found that the Peak design ones are the most versatile size to go with all the luggage I have. With the other brands I looked at online, you usually have to buy a set with a bunch of sizes that you don't need to get the size you want. With the PD ones, you can buy them one at a time. As for folding, I've found the bundle method best for both space and preventing wrinkles. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-L5UlxHsgD58.htmlsi=WEWS6ZJFhuMJQHTY ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE---ZrYtRjYfs.htmlsi=Od1APoJ6SwGWWKjh You can do it either within a cube or over the whole bag, I've done both.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for this review. I am pretty sure i have the exact same purple mat. My BF asked why i want another mat when i already have one and im like ".....this...this is why" lol its the perfect comparison and its going straight on my Christmas list 😅
Omg I've missed your videos! I can't believe he's already 5! I haven't seen him since he was like 2 😫 definitely have to do more challenges with Liam this was so fun!
But.....if we are talking about getting as much in a suitcase as we can, we're probably also pushing the limit on weight allowance, and cubes weigh something. Use a bunch and they must add up to a pound. But the idea is compression, whether folding, rolling or using those cubes. Air pockets equals wasted space. I've done my own experimenting and as I guessed before, none of it matters! The same amount goes in each way if you do each one with maximum compression and minimum wasted. Stack it high, sit on it to close it.......compression!
I would probably just buy a can of silver paint and pour some INSIDE the bottle and slosh it around. Otherwise, the paint on the outside will just peel off every time it hits something.
After getting used to my Power Quick Pot, I barely use anything else! But since they are discontinued I need to figure out what to switch to Before it goes out! If you're reading this and have an idea please, suggestions appreciated!
Does any one know anyone who wants to get rid of a set like this? Or a good place to buy one? It seems she doesn’t sell these anymore but I’d love to get my hands on one
If i was to roll i would not do that last fold. I fold pant legs on top, shirts in half, you can roll an outfit together too for extra convenience. Everyone has their thing. Packing cubes are good just to reduce the possible nightmares that can happen with the TSA or liquids, etc..
