Bro, I'm learning and you're better than me, but my big ripper came with 36t sprocket 16t freewheel, steeezy said to try 33t sprocket to learn, I put 33 on my big woody, and holy, it's so much easier, once you get better you can go back to 36.
Honestly i can ride a unicycle for 40+ miles basically till i get tired. That said i cant wheelie ive tried countless times over the period of my life. Its a mental block i suppose
I’m sorry to ask in case it’s an insecurity but I’m super curious to know what happened to your eye. It looks painful but I also can’t tell if it’s a contact😭 please forgive me for not understanding
Not at all dude! one side is an actual birth mark, while the other side, when I was 4 I fell into a bush and a stick went into my eye and I was left with this scar, I often forget they’re there !
When I went to pick it up, the son was there and everything, judging from the neighbourhood they were quite affluent so I guess they didn’t mind letting it go for 300 lol
try some with ur left leg down on the ground thats how im learning today is my first day learning to stunt and im getting it up to balance point and then gettin scared but with my leg down its really easy to bail out of it
Great video and bike too. Who is easy for wheelies: the ttr 110, the klx 110 or the crf 110? Some friends told me to take the klx 140, they told me that is the best for learning wheelies. What is your opinion? Thanks 👍
Imperial system refers to the old British system... the American system uses the same words for units but the values of units are different. Pints are different btw US & UK as Gallons are measured differently...
I’m pretty sure it’s just a physics thing that makes it so difficult my man. You’re pretty tall so I would presume you need to have a back wheel that is farther behind you in order to make a larger area of potential control. I’m no doctor though
My closest comparison for the Americans is to think of Coolaid. Cordial is a syrup based drink & as a kid it was full of artificial colours that sent kids crazy. My cousin was effected by red cordial & used to go crazy with red / orange cordial.
definitely get boots first followed by rest of the kit, wearing pads under your gear is normal and you should do it because its harder to ride when you're injured, scoot up on the seat, focus on body positioning, and as others have said.. try not to lug the bike around like a 4stroke, when in doubt with a hill gear down and pin it, keep the momentum up, happy riding
Boots are definitely up next on my list, thinking about maybe a chest protector etc I know I’m not going to be riding too hard but I’d rather be okay if I slam than being completely broken off, I gotta learn how to keep it on and not lug it… I could always drive my old car on boost always and it felt natural so hopefully I can get the same on the yz
When u shift shift u ease if off the clutch goin up the hill in 1 too high on a 125 ur gonna be into the throttle more than a beta 300 or ktm u can lug them
Ahhhh I get you, kind of let it ease out and grab and not bang through to the next gear… I think I need to get a foundation of riding first on the two stroke before I start climbing hills
do not engine brake, clutch in when not on gas. 2 strokes wear out pistons even faster if you engine brake. you know, 2 stroke uses oil mixed in gas so it wont get lubricated when engine braking.
Bike's not running properly Sean Especially on bottom end. 125 don't have much bottom end to begin with but your bike is bogging and stuttering on first part of throttle making it hard to ride it's not you. Maybe from sitting around not being used with shit oil and petrol in it. Remove the old petrol start with fresh mix recommend list 1 Best non ethanol fuel you can get 2 motorex cross power synthetic 2 stroke oil used for years the best 3 new NGK spark plug 4 clean carburetor check the jets if you can . Try those few things Sean 100% Worlds biggest comment LOL 😂 🛹
I think I can feel it wanting to go but I try to slow it down maybe lol cause when it’s on power band everything feels smooth and there’s heaps of go I got the highest grade petrol I could here it was 91 lol and some maxima racing 2 stroke oil, it’s a fresh rebuild so everything should be fresh and clean I think I just need to learn keep it high in the revs and not be scared lol
@@seanfromdownunder2560I've built and tuned 2 strokes for years Sean I can hear it. Any who wish I was there I definitely could help with your riding and tuning. I'm sure you'll work it out your a smart bloke. Stay RAD 🛹
Oh man this gunna get me going down a rabbit hole 😂, I’d I adjust the air/fuel screw a little would that help a bit? As for jetting, I’m not sure if the carb was jetted to match the v force reeds, so many variables lol and yea I need a hand with riding this thing would be good if you were up here!
@@seanfromdownunder2560 same bro I ride 4 strokes crf250r 2018 and my dad rides 2 strokes I get on his and I'm like bruv give me power alll the time then power band kicks and u jst feel that yk😂 gotta think more abt the gearing with 2 strokes then riding lol
Definitely need to gas it more! I hear of people using the ruts to climb but I had no idea how and I figured if I stayed outta them it might be better but still couldn’t figure It out
Ive been a 4 stroke boy all my life untill recently i bought a blown up 01 CR125 and rebuilt it. So now im in the same boat as you, trying to learn how to ride a 2 stroke around motorcross tracks and enduro loops. Coming from a 450 the lack of engine braking got me good. So far ive found youve just got to keep the revs up to stay in that power band where all of the torque is. Good luck my friend
Dude me too lol, oh word! That’s a sick bike man! I almost bought one before I got the yz! I haven’t stepped foot onto a MX track yet but there’s two pretty close by! I just want to learn the fundamentals before making a fool out of myself lol I’m trying to think of it like keeping a turbo car on boost! keep it high in the rpm’s and it’ll feel a lot smoother!
The 125 two strokes don’t have much bottom end stock so if your not keeping it on the pipe in power band when it starts to bog on incline and your not feathering the clutch it’s easy to kill I’d suggest a weighted fly wheel and a Xc head will give you more power lower and mid throttle instead of always having to find power band also might look into making sure your carb is jetted correctly for your elevation front and rear sprocket gearing can help as well otherwise it’s just seat time don’t get discouraged took me awhile to learn but the process of progression is what makes it so fun and addicting.
When I got the bike it was a rolling frame with the engine in a box, and it was rebuilt to stock basically apart from v force reeds and the fmf pipe, it’s been super fun to learn it, it was a pain in the ass when I first got on the bike, but I feel like it’s similar to keeping a turbo car on boost kind of thing, but definitely need to learn the clutch technique, haven’t really figured that out yet lol
Crazy how when i skated alot more i watched your videos and now youre uploading the yz 125 around the time im about to get a yz250f first bike. I heard the 2 strokes are insane. Glad you're having fun.
