Great video especially the drone footage. I have been to the crash site a number of times and it has changed over the years. Whether it is the flags, or the (dead) flowers or the other artifacts people have left but it has lost some solemnity for me. Great video - thanks for posting.

The Church is not abandoned. Regular services are held there. The old wooden pews were removed due to death watch and other wood eating bugs many years ago. Close to £1m has been spent over the last 30 years.

Hi Joe, golden carpet underlay man here. I've just done the 32 miles I didn't do due to carpet underlay hell using actual proper equipment and amazingly it was easier. Just wanted to say thank you for the guidebook. It must take you ages to do them. I came to realise that each sentence must individually take a lot of work and thinking because you can't always know where the next indicator is etc. I used it the whole time with the odd but rare need for OS on my phone. Top stuff.

Hi Joe. I am always impressed by your videos. This was beautiful and no exception. What is impressive too is the officially recognised walking tracks, some of which pass through or on the edge of farmed land and presumably form part of ancient "Rights of Way". How incredibly blessed is the UK to have these paths preserved for new generations to enjoy.

The challenge is from Snowdon summit to Foel Fras summit, the getting to and from those points isn't included in the challenge, so it's actually 22 miles and more like 2800m total ascent, last time I did it I caught the train up Snowdon and descended Foel Fras via Llwytmor and Aber Falls which is the shortest descent back down to Aber Falls at just 4.3 miles, so that makes a total of 26.3 miles and 2800m of ascent including getting up and down at the start and end, always helps to make it as easy as possible as the actual challenge is already difficult enough! Also one last tip, the trigpoint on Foel Fras isn't the summit, the actual summit is about 70m away the trig point!
