Originally Harriette's Happy Camper, this channel is mostly just about my travels and van build. You can still Harriette and I on our wonderful camping, glamping, road trip and imaginary adventures in the near future!
A little about me: I was born in London, United Kingdom to American parents. Moved to the States in 1991 for high school and never left.... except for living for four years in Japan after college and traveling to 89 countries. So yes, I guess I left the States for a bit. Although I am a disabled veteran, I love hiking, mountain biking, running, paddleboarding, snowboarding, roller skating, ice skating, rollerblading, longboarding and all other activities I can find. I love learning new hobbies and meeting new people. I've been a journalist, travel writer, translator, travel writer, photographer, advertising executive, digital analyst, website designer, programmer, video editor, graphic designer and content producer for the last 30 years, starting when I was 13.
I'm so sorry to hear that, i grew up in Costa Rica and am currently staying here. If you ever come back its best to stay away from turesty places and to keep all you valuables on youre self never leave them out of site . San Isidro Pérez zeledón is a very nice place whit many places to hike.
@@godbluffvdgg I went in 2008 on a road trip from Belize to Panama. Didn’t have any issues. After visiting this time, I am surprised it’s such a big retirement community.
@@TravelJennie You could spend a life time traveling there and never have a problem...I'm an American, I stay to my own...I've seen too many murders in S. America...
Sorry it happened to you, Costa Rica is getting very dangerous. What my friend told me is that if you want to go to central america or latin america go to El Salvador, safest country in the western hemisphere, it ranks number 8 as the safest country world wide.
Two things Costa Rica does really well: clouds and awesome yummy hot chocolate. We got a little chilly up there, so we warmed up with a nice cup of hot cocoa. I heard they also do coffee really well but I don’t drink coffee. Lol. However, we kept seeing Starbucks coffee plantations all over the place on the way up the mountain
Thank you for such an epic shoutout! It was such a great time running the route with you! Hopefully we can link up again soon! We would really love to team up with your charity too! Thank you so much for being a rockstar and helping others! 💪😎
It is. It’s a loop at the end of the ridge line. I went counter clockwise. Alltrails has the map route. The top ridge line on the loop back is partially closed for restoration www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/us/new-mexico/tsankawi-village-trail
😂😂😂I live in southern Colorado and miss Texas but not the heat and you made me laugh about the mozzies:) and having tons of money and still live in Texas cities:)
We get our passports from our post office why i have no idea . Im in Michigan. How much was yours ? I was told its 130.00 here we r planning a 9 day cruise in 2026 to Puerto Rico n other islands where we need a passport. So im going next week to get mine . Thanks for sharing. Ps. I Absolutely LOVE YOUR HAIR ❤❤❤❤
Houston was worst traffic I ever drove through, good move leaving early, also I swear youtube is messing with the likes, I liked and the number didnt change, does that on other channels too
Jennie, I dont know you at all, but I swear your new hair color its like you're back to your "normal" self. Dont take that the wrong way, its just seems like your back to you, I didnt know the blonde wasn't your normal color until I saw the other video. (just catching up)
So sorry that you had such a bad experience with your hair. The hair looks a lot better and thankfully she was able to fix your hair. I went to a salon (not Madison Reed) without doing research on the salon. I had a perm which looked terrible. Made a mistake of going back and this made it worse. Looked like my hair was put in an electrical socket. Awful basically. Had to wait almost a month to fix it. A co-worker had a cousin who could fix hair mistakes, so I went to her. She was able to cut out most of the damage but my hair was permanently damaged (became very dry). I was lucky as I found out someone else went to this same salon and their hair fell out (thankfully this didn't happen to me). They reported this to the police but the police couldn't do anything (you would have to prove criminal intent or that the person who did the hair did this on purpose). They ended up reporting it to the state agency that regulates the licenses of the salon and those who cut hair. Within months, this salon was shut down due to numerous complaints about ruined hair. . This happened over 30 years ago but my hair never fully recovered from the damage.
your videos that I've seen seem to be very well made I don't know of anything on your videos that didn't seem well done to me but you brought to mind something that I've thought about in the past and that is that channels such as yourself that don't have a great deal of subscribers and you have a substantial amount of videos I know of several other channels that are the same way and I thought why is their not more advertisement so to speak for channels like yours because your channel I just happened to find it by watching people that camp in their van or their vehicle and you came on and I found you interesting and I enjoyed watching some of your videos but I thought other than that I never would have heard of you or ever known you or seen your videos so it seems to me that there should be some kind of advertisement of the different channels I think that would help you creators greatly to get more subscribers
@@RobertR-t5l we aren’t required to do emissions outside of the city of Houston. I wish we did…. smog and humidity don’t mix. We actually have a DeLorean factory here in north Houston but the owner stopped doing tours because he hated all the Back to the Future references 😁
I had long hair, (male) no certain style. I looked like cousin "ITT" from Addams family. I started losing it at 21, I said screw that and Ive kept it shaved since and Its so much less maintenance for me now. I dont recommend bald, but its an option...lol BTW, I was 13 my last barber visit in 1989 for $5 !!!
Someone from Sugarland Texas i think thats the name hit a 800 million mega ticket all by themselves Lucky Peeps !! Need to make friends with them lol 😂😂😂 i didnt win a dollar. Just thought I'd share lol ..... take care hugs n love always from your friend in Michigan Tam 💓 💗 💕
@@tammycruz8189 what’s really funny is that they’ll probably end up still living in Sugarland, lol. I have a friend who made $50 million selling a business back in 2010 and he still lives in North Houston. If I had $50 million I would buy a house in every country and see everything on this entire planet 😁
She’s at school during the week and she needs to get new ice skates. We haven’t skated since Covid. She’s more into art these days but we will get back out there on the rink soon
did you know that people are spending like three times more on halloween decorations than they spend on christmas decorations kind of unsettling if you think about it (hair looks good) 🤫
