If watching this in the uk, DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE OVEN! Put my Impreza sti headlight in there for 3 mins at 270c and it’s melted my light! New headlights ordered 🤬
TV Industry is waaaay different than the headlight industry, different technology too! TV LEDs would never be bright enough for headlights - and they only need to be one color!

I bought Morimoto headlights for my 2016 ram 1500. The sequential lights work when the truck engine is off, but when I turn the engine on, the passenger side sequential light does not work. only the driver side. Any tips or ideas? and I made sure they were both disconnected to get the sequential lights to work, but I’m still having trouble
@@RetrofitSource Interesting, I was about to go with the GTR ultras since they have a lifetime warranty, but I can't find any comparison with those. Any particular reason the other two would be the better choice, pairing with the Morimoto Mini H1 8.0?
my car currently has 4300k d2s factory bulbs and I wanted to upgrade to pure white while keeping xenon, what is the best choice ? something 5000k and or 6000k ?
The lens and the sharp edge of the cutoff shield cause light to bend and disperse, splitting into its constituent colors, similar to how a prism works. This phenomenon, known as chromatic aberration, occurs because different wavelengths (colors) of light bend by different amounts. Blue light bends more than red light, causing the blue hue to be visible at the top edge of the cutoff. While the blue line is primarily an optical artifact, it is often considered aesthetically pleasing and a sign of high-quality projector headlights.
Has anyone ever heard of heartray HId bulbs? Are they good? I have to used 2nd bulbs on my headlights and they are in lightwerkz site and they are then only ones I can find with 5500 k color
I'm going to make a set using my old Volkswagen halogen headlights. I'll use a hole saw to get the perfect size hole for my new, cheap, LED projector. I'm just running LEDs in my halogen projector at the moment but the beam isn't perfect. You miss the peripheral views. I've got a light-bar on my roof basket to counter this issue on bendy back roads. It sucks having to turn it off every time oncoming traffic appears.
I have a 2014 Kia optima that has a low beam halogen projector as well as a high beam halogen reflector housing. What would I do in this situation to get the most light? Would I just do a single retrofit with an upgraded projector since the OEM Kia ones suck. Or do you go with bi xenon? If I go with bi xenon then what happens with the high beam halogen reflector that’s already installed on the car ?
Anyone find a workaround with the fuses? because my DRL stay on for a good while after I turn off my truck, please let me know if anyone has a solution

Could you do a video comparing 360 LED bulbs in a projector headlight? There are multiple videos on RU-vid demonstrating that 2-sided LED bulbs in a projector lens has an unsafe beam pattern compared to the 360 bulbs.
My drl does not default back to white after turn the rbg off on the app it defaults to a yellow green mixed color. It only defaults to white when i turn the car off and on again???
Yes and no. In theory, you can find another projector that uses an H11 bulb type and use that... but performance is going to be lackluster. Performance projectors are made for D1S/D2S/D3S/D4S and H1 primarily.
