Wonder why they did not use the person's standard where appropriate? While Diana had been divorced from Charles, I think the BBC should have used her standard.
BBC always knock it out of the park with the montage and this one with no different. The bit at 'and though you're gone, you're with me every single day believe me' where they show all the great players for who its their last Euros was brilliant.
We may not had won the final and no doubt against the best team of the tournament. But you know what its the memories of this tournament that will stay with me for a life time. Bellingham bycycle kick the penalty shootout win against switzerland the 90th minute winner against the dutch and cole palmers goal in the final giving us that glimmer of hope but of course wasnt meant to be. The future is bright for this England and im confident we can win a trophy in our life time. Onto Usa 2026 we go!
@DaleGeorgePhair did you not watch the likes of France then who actually did scrape to the semi finals we might not have been perfect but that was a shit show 🙄
The BBC tournament montages are normally brilliant, but this one was complete rubbish. The music was horrendous and didn’t match the tournament at all.
I have a feeling that had England won last night. They would've alternatively used the song "Heroes by Peter Gabriel" that would've had me in tears if they did lmaoo "we can be heroes just for one day"
Yessssss love the dedication! Respect to you 😏🫡 the first two rounds of group stage were iconic! Sadly, the 3rd round was boring, and there were too many 0-0s 😔 not enough drama for me... except for when Italy equalised against Croatia. Georgia beating Portugal was brilliant. Everything else was flat
It could be worse, for most of my life watching England in tournaments it’s been absolutely woeful… lacklustre quarterfinal exits at best and group stage exits at worst. At least this current generation of players have taken us deep into tournaments and given us moments to be proud of.
