Respectfully, none ofthis follows manufacturers recommendations. Porcelain etch should only sit on emax crowns for 20 sec, not a minute (this will lead to weaker bonding). Then silane should sit in crown for 1 minute before airdrying the solvent out, not being airdried immediately. And finally scotchbond does not need to be added to the crowns, only the preps, as that is what the silane is for. But I suppose if that's what's working for you, then you do you. I do, however, like the jig you used for preparing multiple crowns.

Great video, I have not been able to manipulate the implant in Explorer view but I will try your the way you suggested. This was very helpful just some subtle things that will make planning better. What printer are you using to print a model of midface? I don't think my sprintray 55 is large enough but maybe I could do 2 print of each half. Appreciate you taking time to share this workup.
First you placed a horizontal mattress suture around the abutment. What do you call the second and third sutures you placed (twice each) one at the medial and another at the distal?

@@jlbdmd not so much… I had one top implant replaced with a more aggressive thread I had one lower implant replaced to another location Each of these has set my over all end goal back by months as they had to heal. At the exposure to put in the next stage abutments, I developed a liver clot and lost over a pint of blood before getting back in to get the bleeding under control. The Maxillofacial surgeon has been absolutely fantastic; with an incredible staff. The prosthodontist I chose concerns me. I want to change, but I’m more concerned about changing mid process than I am with him.
I’m getting my implants exposed in two months; to have my upper bar placed. I cannot wait to be without this temp that has a palette section. I don’t have a gag reflex issue like I have heard many do; however, I want some of my biting force back, and most of all taste and smell.
The colour match for the upper and lower teeth could have been better why did the lab not mask out the metal frame of the denture ? This could explain the shade discrepancy was hoping to see the patient with an edge to edge bite as I take my hat off to you for trying to make a full upper denture work with natural lower teeth well done!
@@jlbdmd I mask out my frames with a kulzar composite mask. I mix the opaque with pink then bond on the colour to match the shade of the teeth it stops the grey look and adds vitality to the denture! I then etch the denture and layer the gingival colours to the acrylic! But nice job!

@@jlbdmd No.. Not possible to change the plastic membrane. I called 3Dsystems. The membrane is linked to the tray. The tray is 100% alumina so you can recycle it.. $625 for a new one.. :(

How are you doing? I do like your videos I have over dentures on the bottom with the bar. I’ve had them in for two years. There are they’re the same gold ones that you have in this procedure you’re doing is it normal for them to wear out in two years because my over dentures are starting to move down a little bit but they’re pretty secured still I’m just wondering thank you appreciate your videos.
Hi Johnathon, I am in line to have upper rear implants fitted (expect 4-6 either side and then a bar retained overdenture fitted for the front teeth. Is it recommended to remove the overdenture overnight and if so, is the bar uncomfortable in the mouth?. Reason for overdenture is that my upper front jawbone has receded as I have had a partial there for some years, I am 76 y/o and the specialist said that she would highly recommend this procedure as all on 4 may not be possible due to bone and also due to my age, cleaning of all on 4 may be an issue in the future. , I accepted her recommendation as it seems logical due to circumstances.
This seems like a great option at a great price vs something like RayFace for 20 grand….cant wait to get it and start cranking out 2 visit printed dentures!
I think what he is saying is that you can use the hamulus as a reference point when trying to locate the GP canal. For instance, when administering a as V2 block.
I am very happy for you. I have them upper and lower and got mine screwed in to my jaws about 6 to 8 weeks ago. Still getting bite adjusted but they are very nice. You will like them! 😊
