I was there in Aachen in 2015, i saw this live, and i still asking to myself how all the German Team including the Rider were joying and smiling after a perfectly clear irregular Horse, i think this has been really inaccetable.

She truly is a gift from the gods. That Sancta Terra video is an overdub of the album version which doesn’t feature Floor. Edit: I think this is an old compilation, I’m certain I’ve seen it before. If it was new it would certainly feature some of her performances from Beste Zangers.
What happened to this horse? They took him away from his best rider, Edward Gal. The horse is only one part of that special golden and once in a lifetime-combination... the rider is the other part. Gal rode this horse with no pressure at all, you could see air between his legs and the horse. Gal never “drove” him, he “carried” him. That’s the difference
After Edward Gal won the dressage in london, the owner, Moorland, sold him in 2010 to the stables of Paul Schökemuele for €15.000.00. Mathias Rath tried to ride him but it never went anywhere. Shortly after, totilas got hurt during a breeding incident and never rode dressage again. Last i know is that he was used as a breeding stud.
Tortilas needs to be returned to Edwars Gal Before the best dressage stallion the world has ever seen is ruined anymore then he already has. When are you giung to realise no amiunt of money can buy or replace a connection between tortilas and edward gal. Hes not lame, hes over ridden, not allowed to just be him and is simply not supported by the ridsr , not connected and not happy. An uneven robot whos lost his expressive brilliance. Please return him before its too late
A part of me hates that they rode Totilas to the ground, simply because he was the record breaking horse with Gal. Even when his condition worsened they rode him till he couldn't compete. I wish they had done something for him like Valegro, and retired him at his prime instead of showing him to the world, a lame horse. It's tarnished Toto's good name, his wonder image, and has left him a broken shell of what he was years ago. And it's sad because at the end of the day, he was an unknowing horse brought into the world and wrung out for all he was worth because of his natural talent.
How much a horse can change over the years. Totilas was a horse with full potential when he was with Edward. Now he is not even close to 50%. With Edward he gave pretty much everyone goosebumps. The horse was so powerfull. Now everyone only feels sad for him. He gets pulled to hard in his mouth. The person riding him even gripped the reigns shorter when they arrived, while they already where pretty short. Poor Totilas, it's so sad what has happend to you.
The apparently inhumane treatment of such a talented horse is sad. I only hope his suffering brings change to the sport. I wonder what Edward Gal thinks and how he feels about what has happened to this innocent horse.
eine super Vorführung wie weit man ein Pferd erniedrigen kann...das arme Tier, dabei sieht man hier nur das Resultat...wie schmerzhaft der Weg dahin war..das wird sich uns nie darstellen...das passiert ohne Öffentlichkeit... und das passiert nicht nur bei den Top Super Reitern...nein das geht bis zu den Amateuren ...Hani und Nani merken das garnicht das ihre Pferdeliebe nur eine Selbstliebe ist..damit das weniger wird...bin ich für eine Pferdesteuer!!!!!
I'm ashamed on my country. Yes, Totilas is amazing. Yes, he's probably the most famous dressage horse. But no, torturing him isn't okay. I'm ashamed that this is my country. He's such a wonderful horse and I bet he would've been happier if someone actually listened to him and stopped them.
at 4.57 mins in the ride a major fault occurs which would normally place the rider score usually 10 points lower. She does it twice and other errors as well. This ride by Dujardin on Valegro is not technically clean and as such should have received a much lower mark. Even the commenters from Dutch TV an FEI TV said it was such a bad error. Yet the rider won with a fantastic score. Some thing is wrong with the system of Dressage judging. Something that needs investigating. It stinks of problems beginning with C

I dont realy like the Schockemöhle organisation...... We had two mares there for breeding with Sir Donnerhall and one of them was damaged by their vet. so bad that she went to bowel operation, they did not take any responsability for this, we had to pay about 8000 euro when picking up the mare.... so be careful with them...!
this was one of the worst tests of the whole championship. I could tell that horse was lame from the first stride the video showed. the poor horse's back, hips and hind legs hurt because of the use of rollker in his training. No wonder why he has been hurt so many times. Just look up his young horse stallion show when he was around 5. His movement was correct and swung unlike his movement today which is stiff and has no power from behind. They need to go back to the german way of riding (classical) instead of the dutch way (roller) if they want the horse to live past 14.
