I disagree with some of his stats -- amount of money spent on children is not true. However, some of his other points are right on. I think it important to the conversation.

I do not recall older generations being responsible for my success when I was a kid. All I heard was if you don't work hard you will be living on the street. This motivated me. I suggest the same percentage of go-getters are still there as in previous generations. Likewise, there are still a bunch of entitled lazies running around. I have seen examples of both in the Gen Z people I know. Secondly, I suggest asking China how having far too many college grads is going for them. It is a false belief that a college education is a magic bullet. Just as wrong as when it was purported that everyone should be a homeowner. Just not true - never has been. Kudos to Scott pumping-up the value in pursuing a trade. I think I will keep listening to him.

This guy speaks briefly about the "maximize compensation, reduce exposure" attitude - then proceeds to argue in favor of policies that would maximize his compensation and reduce his exposure. His ideas are half-baked. Attacking social security is a bad idea. It's a part of the social construct that still functions somewhat like it ought to and it's cost - much like the cost of paying your taxes - would not be onerous for any of us if our labor was worth what it ought to be. You wouldn't be worried about taxes if you got paid an appropriate amount. The cost of education in general and the value of your "liberal arts degree" are factors of the worth of your labor, and labor isn't worth jackshit in this country. If your wages had kept pace with the productivity of the nation then you'd be making 20k to 100k per year more than what you do today, and an 800$ tax break wouldn't be enough to buy your loyalty. Accelerating the rate of training for trades doesn't raise the value of labor. It just creates more competition between plumbers for the plumbing jobs.
Very simple analysis. Russia losing would probably result in a more hardcore response. No Russian leader is going to backstab millions of pro-Russians in those occupied areas. It would make the Palestinian refuge crisis from 1948 look like Sesame Street in comparison.

I agree with everything except his take on college education. Society needs farmers, electricians and plumbers more than it does lawyers and business analysts. If anything, people need to learn more practical skills and the corresponding jobs should be paid fairly. Universities should only be for the most intelligent few percent of society.
Most Muslims when Muslims get attacked- Muslims are being killed, injustice happening, getting oppressed for years, come out in huge numbers to protest etc.. But when terrorist organisations attack then same Muslims say - they are not real Muslims, their Islam is different, it's a war, they are not terrorists they are fighting for their land, their people etc.. Should have humanity or atleast something in your heart to call right 'right' and wrong 'wrong' rather than blindfolding yourself and denying such videos or atrocities happening with other people not only here but in every corner of the world.
