Great video, photography music, labeling, and narrating. Better than some well known RU-vidrs. Looks like you avoided the smoke that seems to come from California almost every year. I left CA 40 years ago and ended my backpacking in the Sierras. Never had smoke or crowds back then. But the sand colored terrain always needed a little snow and clouds for a good pic. I’ll be going to Rae and Sixty Lake Basin over Kearsarge for my warmup hike for 24. Living close to Canada you have to wait till August to go over the passes. Although Charlotte Lake is closer to Glen Pass, I plan to stay at Kearsage Lakes for maybe a 2nd night if the hike in kicks my butt. Certainly good enough scenery. What date In July did you go? I’ll be going June 26th.
Thank you very much. We will be in the Bishop CA area this weekend. Will hike this trail. Great videos with beautiful details. The video is so encouraging.
I really do appreciate this video for actually showing glimpses of The Trails and the lakes... and not focus on themselves the whole time... it really helps when you've never been there... this is one of my first stops and first Trails starting tomorrow for my vacation. Thank you for the information the video was great
I live in CT with my three girls and wife now, used to live in Mammoth years ago; i miss it with all my heart. Thanks for the great video and reminding me of great memories.
Great job with the filming and narrating. I didn’t see this until after I got back but on 8/3/22 I went from the onion valley trailhead to the pass and back. It was just absolutely stunning! Thank you
I was there last week but no horse. With cancer it was very difficult but I did it. Blue Lake is beautiful and so were the surrounding peaks. I wish Arizona had mountains like the high Sierras.
I'll be there next June by horse 🐎. With leukemia I can't hike like I use to. I've day hiked and backpacked in every western state but Colorado, BC Canada and five European countries. I've day hiked and backpacked up and down the Sierra Nevada Mountains, love them.
Excellent job with the video. I just returned from Bishop / Mammoth yesterday and hiked Little Lakes Valley. There have been summer rain storms the past week or so, so the creeks were flowing good. Thanks for this video, will try this hike in the fall!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for the water update, we are heading up tomorrow, hiking again into Kearsarge Lakes, that info will come in handy!
Incredible. Thank you for sharing. I'm planning a trip to the Sierras. Would love to do this hike, too. BTW, you did an amazing job filming this. I've tried filming with my iphone. HA, what a joke. Thanks again, an Oregon nomad 🌲❤🐶😽❤🌲
Beautiful footage! Two years ago, We hiked San G via South Lake/Dry Lake in one LONG day. We'll be hiking it again the end of this month with spending one night before summitting. Good plan. :)
@@adventureswithgregandjanic4222 the water levels seem to be holding up well in the backcountry. Sabrina and South Lake are very very low but North Lake and everything above 10,000ft seems to be nominal
