Hi! you can undo using ctrl+z! For undo upscale you can click on the asset and on the right hand side you'd see an arrow which would allow you to go to the previous version of your forge. Hope this helps!
If you have a CUDA graphics card made in the last decade and a few hours to mess around you can just install Stable Diffusion and generate this garbage for free. It's very easy. AI-generated works currently aren't copyrightable either. It's laughable that you think whatever secret sauce Layer is selling is worth a monthly subscription. There's probably a system extracting features from the user-submitted works and you add those to the prompt to get "style consistency," right? I'm pretty sure the Stable Diffusion webui can already do that natively.
@@layer_ai for a sidescroller, the background needs to be layered for parallax. When you scroll, essentially not all layers scroll at the same rates, and the layers need to be designed with that in mind (often you want the furthest layer to be looped as well). So far I think your product is cool, but a lot is still left to the user. For example, if I'm making an isometric game, it's basically implied that I'll need consistent shots of things in multiple angles, and then there's still the issue of animating and creating sprite sheets etc. When all is said and done, as a coding guy, even using your tool is still not even faster than just paying an artist to do all that for me. And a good artist will do a better job as well. But, all that is understandable because it's an emergent technology. Hopefully it gets to be something an art layperson like myself can use efficiently :)

This is all so epic. 2 questions... (1) I hired an artist to make me a 2D asset. I don't want your Ai to dream up a character for the postures with your software, I want to insert my character into multiple postures with your software for stop motion animation purposes. (2) forging assets. Does that mean making a 3D asset that can be imported into Adobe Aero, dimension or blender?
Layer currently is focused on 2d asset creation looks like your needs are around 3d which we'll support in the future hopefully within next 12 months. Forging assets means: prompting (with text) to guide AI to generate assets. Yapay zeka, gerçek çizerlerin yaptığı gibi önce ana hatlar, sonra bu hatlara sadık kalarak kaba detaylar sonra ışıklar parlamalar vb. ince detaylar adım adım olacak şekilde eğitilse, çok daha isabetli sonuçlar çıkar mı acep?
is the art style / rendering style / output is based on a trained art internally ? if so do you guys regulate it by signing an agreemant with the artists that the work is going to be used for research ? if not, showing results based on an open source artworks/images i unethical the tool is great though.
Layer is a gen-ai tool for Game Artists (they could be independent or working for a company). Layer allows artists to do the following: 1. Upload their existing assets to train the AI to learn their own art style 2. Generate multiple variations of assets based on their own style via the prompter 3. Iterate on the selected ai generated output via layer's canvas + AI + prompter combined 4. Collaborate via Layer drive with other artists.
