Did you react to the song strangers? Great reaction anyway. I love that they keep changing it up. And it's nothing to do with the record labels. They wanted to go down this root. Oli has a very mixed taste in music aswell as Jordan. ❤

Great review. You already have advice and suggestions on how to avoid blocks with the transparencies etc. Find the channel Jake Muller has suggested and look there for the video called 'Future Plans'. You will find a link to a spreadsheet in the description with more links to live videos of nearly all the songs with transparencies already on them plus clear ones for you to enjoy - and guidance on how to use them for more reactions. The piano outro on 'Tales of the Destinies' is actually a bridge into the next song - 'The One'. The two songs started life as one song but were separated quite early in the writing process - but they do go together. 'The One' shares some elements with 'TotD' but is more of a prog metal ballad. It is also dedicated to the fans (who BABYMETAL also named The One of course) and is like their love letter to the fans. The Tokyo Dome version that followed on from this performance of TotD is an extended performance of the full English version. They have so many great songs, you could work your way through all of them and you will not be bored as each song is different to the last. I would suggest 'Megitsune' as a fine place to start - the official video is excellent, one of my favourite live performances is on that channel with an all female audience.
@PigOnATreeHD
@PigOnATreeHD Год назад
That’s so cool BABYMETAL has dedicated a song to their fans. I wonder you all are so supportive and protective. Lol. I am really enjoying listening their catalog of songs. Megitsune I believe is on the same album as gimme chocolate, right? That was the other song I really enjoyed from them early on. I’m going to listen to “the one” right now! Thanks so much for your support and advice, truly appreciated
@Grington300
@Grington300 Год назад
@@PigOnATreeHD Yes, 'Megitsune' pre-dates 'Gimme Chocolate' by about a year and both were on the first album. 'The One' came about when they realised their foreign fans must be learning Japanese to sing along with them and they were so touched they wanted to return the compliment and to learn a song completely in English. The Japanese album has a half and half English-Japanese version, the international release had the full English version. There is also an "unfinished" (acoustic) version and sometimes they mix the two.

Great Reaction! As for BABYMETAL's reaction, it appears from other reactors that if you drop in a logo that blocks the screen, etc., it will not be restricted. I see that some people are using Gaussian blur on their screens. The Tales and The ONE are a suite and the bridge is a beautiful piano piece, The ONE is not a favorite of some for some reason, but I love it.

Welcome back to the Foxhole 🦊🤘🔥 It's been a while, sad to hear about your blocked and stripped down reaction, that's what happens with some of their songs and live performance, especially this one it was performed only one time live at Tokyo Dome 2016, that's why i tried to left a comment where to get safe version but YT don't want my suggestions some times, you got a place where to get this clip with watermarked logo safe to react along with many more clips, gonna left the title in my next comment. Anyway glad you enjoyed this progressive metal song, the piano outro is the bridge to another special songs for BM fans called "The One", both songs were originally part of the one set but it was split in two parts. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this and hope to see you next time with more. Kitsune up!🦊🤘🔥

When in doubt, use a giant opaque Babymetal watermark over the video. It usually works. Usually people have no problem reacting to the FTFG edit of Tales of Destinies. No one knows why once in awhile these normally safe videos get slapped down.

Understood about Amuse. I will leave you 5 channels that specialize in high quality compilation videos of LIVE BabyMetal performances to get past algorithms used to block videos. They use LIVE audio from one concert edited seamlessly with footage from multiple LIVE performances of that song from different venues (thus fooling the algorithms). Kurokiitsunesama ferr who? A note about your thumbnail: it depicts Sumetal, Moametal, and Yuimetal. In the first place, Yui Mizuno officially left the band in 2018 and, second, she had absolutely nothing to do with this song. Welcome back. You are right, they are unique, there is nobody else quite like them (some have tried to follow in their footsteps, none have come even close yet). Are you sure about the "basic song structure with no real intricacy"? That may apply to a couple of their fun songs like 'Gimme Chocolate', but this sounds like it has many Prog Metal elements and time signature changes to me. It isn't even the first time they dabbled with Prog Metal - 'Tales of the Destinies' is their homage to Dream Theater and that was on the second album as long ago as 2016. All of this latest album is great - and as always there is a whole lot of variety from one song to the next, none of them the same, none of them filler. You could do more reactions either to the other songs on this album or maybe digging deeper into their past catalogue to see how 'Gimme Chocolate' was pretty much a one-off and how wrong people were to dismiss them or to think that's all they did or were on the basis of that one song ... because of how different all the other and older songs were. Live performances are always best with BABYMETAL too (the official videos are all good and worth seeing, but they are a live performance act, that is where they are always at their best).
@PigOnATreeHD

@@PigOnATreeHD They have only played 'Tales of the Destinies' live once to date - that was in 2016 at the Tokyo Dome as the first of the 2 finale songs (it was followed by 'The One') on the first of the two nights they played there. They sold out both nights - 55,000 people each night. You may be able to find that performance on the Babymetal Reactor Resource channel ... if not please ask so we can point you towards it.

One of the biggest things that puts me off so many other bands is boring vocals. Even if the singer has a good voice, so many of them sing every song the exact same way. Same deliver, same tempo, same inflections in the voice, same everything. I love that Su is challenged to sing in different ways depending on the song. It makes the songs so much more interesting. For me, all the bells and whistles Babymetal has in their shows would mean nothing and Su's beautiful voice would mean much less if she didn't sing the songs in an interesting way.

Welcome back to the Foxhole and BabyMetal's metalverse 🦊🤘🌐 I'm glad to see old BM fans and reactors coming back to hear more BM songs and this new album, they're showing a BM side we've never seen before with more mature sound. I'm pretty sure everyone was looking for this type of songs and is even one of SuMetal's favorite from this album. I like the progressive metal elements, that heavy breakdown and the existential questions. There's also a reference to Macbeth in the lyrics besides the obvious lines famously known by Snow White tale. Here's some official info: Mirror Mirror (MIRROR) _Mirror, mirror on the wall...this song embodies a parallel world where the world inside the mirror and the world of reality go back and forth._ _Is what you see in the mirror your true self or the self you wish to be?_ They also got official lyrics of this song. Recently they finished the UK leg of the Sabaton's Europe Tour, yesterday was Paris turn, and today was Germany time, everyone is having a blast and they will come back to Europe at the end of the year, this World Tour year is gonna be awesome, the US will get another live shows with the Babyklok Tour along with Dethklok and they will be part of more festivals shows. You need to update the thumbnail thou because that's one is really old and one of the members called YuiMetal left the group in 2018, now they got another member recently announced as official called MomoMetal, also the logo title change, you can find pictures about it. Also today they released another official MV from this album called METALIZM, try it whenever you want and come back to share your thoughts. Thanks for sharing this, the rest of the album tracks are already available in their own channel, so get ready for more blaster tracks. See you next time!🦊🤘🪞

During their visit to the US, they are also coming to Canada for only the second time, so we're all very excited here in Canada. They will be coming to Vancouver and will be performing in a pretty small venue, but that is also a good thing in a way as that means it'll be a more intimate setting, and I'm going to try to be optimistic that since I know this venue fairly well, we might even have a very remotely small chance of meeting the girls after the concert. Small hope in hell, but it's possible because of where it is lol
@rah2287
@rah2287 Год назад
BabyMetal began in 2010 there were Suzuka Nakamoto age 12 Moa Kikuchi and Yui Mizuno (Yui left in 2018 due to health reasons). Both Moa and Yui were only 11 when the group began. All three were friends and classmates who attended an idol school (Sakura Gakuin) founded in 2010 by Amuse Talent Agency for girls 10 to 15. Themed around school life the girls would learn and train to be idols and graduate at age 15 to move onto whatever entertainment path they chose. Key Kobayashi was a music producer for Amuse and heard Suzuka sing at age 9 and was impressed with her strong vocals and stage presence. Kobayashi was a fan of heavy metal but believed that the genre had become stale and tired (especially in Japan) with metal bands getting old Kobayashi believed the genre needed to be reborn (BabyMetal means the birth of a new metal genre). Kobayashi felt that Suzuka had the ability to front a metal band and that her vocals and presence could withstand the metal guitars and drums. The fusion of Jpop and Metal began. He placed Moa and Yui as backup singers/dancers and a phenomenon was about to result. At first Amuse showed no interest and the girls had only financing from Kobayashi. They performed at strip malls and small venues using clothes borrowed from friends and family. No money for a real band they had friends dressed in homemade skeleton costumes pretending to play instruments to a backtrack. They became a sensation (these young ladies paid their dues) and Amuse saw the potential and in 2012 hired the best session musicians Japan had to offer (The Kami Band) who tours with them today (now includes world class musicians from the USA for tours outside of Asia). If you choose to explore more of BabyMetal I suggest reacting to LIVE performance videos as this is where they shine. They have over 50 LIVE songs/performances and each one is different. They are fearless exploring many genres and have the respect of the legends of Metal such as Metallica, Slipknot, Rob Zombie, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Judas Priest and more. Avoid Glastonbury LIVE performances as the sound production by the BBC (who was in charge of that festival did a terrible job - mics not turned on, incorrect volume levels, etc.) Suggest reacting to these for a start. Karate LIVE at 2016 Download Festival in the UK where 60,000+ British metal heads sing along with the girls. Megitsune LIVE at Budokan 2021 Road of Resistance LIVE in Japan Headbanger LIVE Catch Me If You Can LIVE with Kami Band intro At their concert in Yokohama on April 1 it was announced that a permanent third member Momoko Okazaki (who is also a graduate of Sakura Gakuin and has been appearing with them LIVE since 2019) has officially become the third member. Their new album in my opinion that released March 24 is amazing with so many different styles. Good luck and hope to see you again.

This is a album you should listen to several times, as it will grow on you. I like it much better now, then at first listens, I tryed to rate the songs from the album, i listened to all songs at least 20 times each by now. 1. Inamorata 9,5/10 2. Shadows follow 9/10 3. If darkness had a son 9/10 4. Lux æterna 9/10 5. 72 seasons 9/10 6. To far gone? 9/10 7. Room of mirrors 9/10 8. Chasing light 9/10 9. You must burn 8/10 10.Screaming suicide 7,5/10 11.Crown of barbed wire 7/10 12.Sleepwalk my life away 6.5 /10 Those rankings on songs gives a album rank 8,4/10 I do not think the album have the absolute masterpiece deserviving a 10/10, but its close, a lot of great songs still, i gave a lot 9/10, because i think all those songs could be at 2nd top spot, depending on my mood, so i have to value them equal. I do think a balad would have suited this album, but its not making the album weak that it isnt there, well you kind of get to accept the sound of the songs, , and epreciate them as they are, after some listens.. after all this listenings this album have become the best album for me since the Black album at least, well done METALLICA!!

I would probably give it a 7/10. My favorite songs so far are shadows follow, room of mirrors and Chasing Light. I do agree a little more variety would have given this album a higher score.
