Hey, where did you get the blue shrouds? What other mods do you have done to it besides the FMF pipes? Are you at sea level and what jets are you running? What reeds are you running on it? You're RM sounds great!
I had one back in late 80's. It is a BEAST. I had a buddy run mine into a tree and ended up paralyzed. Which was also the end of my bike. I told him not to ride it so he waited till everyone was a sleep at camp and I heard it fire up and within the time I got out of the tent he was wiped out. That bike was the hardest one I ever rode to hold onto at throttle. I went on to a 600 Ninja on street and also a 1100 CBR but the YZ was harder to ride.
That was a great generation of RM. I’ve got a fully restored 1991 that rips! I laughed at your packing comment in the video because I was thinking it at the time it popped up 😂
I remember dad opening the garage I was 15 RM 250 sat there gold wheels and the traditional 90’s graphics I loved that bike sold it to my dads friend in Ireland , unfortunately years later my dad passed away his friend drove his hgv all the way over to the U.K. and gave it me back for free. Fully rebuilt it took it motocross a few times then like a complete idiot sold it. Big mistake but I was in a bad place. 😢 She looks nice ✊🏻💨

Never said what year it is??? Guessing it's a 1990.... had one back in the day in 92...easy to ride, plentiful power and killer turning abilities. I see you are Function over Fashion...well Fashion NEVER won a race...sooo ride on👍 I'm jus say'n, Flodaddy ❤
Hi Alec new to your channel I raced for 30 yrs and restore MX bikes a couple thing the bike the RM 250 it's a 1989-1990 in 91-1992 the frames were yellow and had silver wheels and a camo cow pattern on the seat and decals it looks like maybe an old TUF racing bike just google everything then click on images looks like a great project just wanted to let ya know I raced them and my buddy rode for Suzuki in that time frame.

Currently rebuilding/fixing an old and tired 1995 RM250... Cant wait to light her up and smell the 2 stroke oil. Nice video bro, nice edit, nice bike and ofc sweet riding 😎
