Because I get asked about it constantly. And also: there are six Meadowhawks for sale on the Warmoth website right now. warmoth.com/special-runs/claro-walnut
The space nerd is me! You are the first person to ever hear the name and know what it means. I had to explain it to everyone else....and even then they were like "okaaaaaayyyy....".
I figured out n.2 was chambered because of a slight lack of sustain. But honestly in a live situation that difference would be very minor compared to the benefits of a lighter guitar
Just make the bodies and necks an option. This is the same BS every time this meadowhawk guitar is talked about. Its like they have the holy grail or something. They know people will buy it. People ask why its not an option for sale every time they post this stuff. Its a joke.
It is not a compound radius, as you did so well at demonstrating, it is a Conical Radius. Frets are compound radii, but a guitar neck is NOT. Please, tell it like it is, Conical Radius, or progressive radius.
Okay, that's funny. I know everyone calls Conical, Compound, the problem is that frets are compound radius, not the neck or fretboard and it mashes understanding of what is and is not when the wrong words are used to describe something. And again, obviously you know the difference, your excellent demonstration makes that clear, so I really wonder why you do not call it what it is when you know the correct terminology. Hope you do not mind this input. I do not expect you to change just on my say so. I believe that one day when people can understand Conical they will more easily understand the advantage. I think Conical is superior to Cylindrical... the action is more even and responsive. It should become the standard rather than the exception, if only people had the correct words to wrap their heads around it. Thank you for the humor.
Please, please, please make this body shape available - even if it doesn't have the carved out lower wings. It's just a gorgeous outline that kind of ticks all the boxes: Les Paul elegance, Telecaster familiarity, offset balance. It's just different enough to turn heads. Would love to be able to take that shape and customize it with different pickup routs, etc...
Hm. Interesting. Since there are only 3 different neck profiles which don't involve additional upcharge, and I do not have very big hands, I've always ended with the "Standard thin" so far...
Good work! I wish I were as fast as you. Jokes aside, I admire your skill with the conductive tape. I have a devil of a time preventing it from curling up and sticking to itself and other things before I get it to where I want it to go. I did not notice it, but did you put the conductive tape on the underside of the plastic cavity covers?
Yep, I put it on the underside. I usually don't show every single part of a build, or it would take forever, even at 2,000x speed! Don't know if you've already seen it, but here's a video with my tips on applying copper foil: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vZ9cr3mNq84.html
@03:55 Absolutely! Both of my Jacksons have an OFR, and I've had to toothpick-tip the wood screws twice on the Soloist and once on the Dinky. Nuts should be installed with screws from underneath a la Kramer always did in the 80s.
Don't just make the body shape and headstock shape available on the regular menu, but start offering the Meadowhawk neck in all options that have to do with a guitar neck (including the Meadowhawk inlay!!) Also, we gotta see those Warmoth truss rod covers on the menu!
I just got my black limba tele body and neck, maple rosewood. 2 hum LP cutout hardtail, searching for color ideas, tele TV butterscotch yellow or SG cherry burgundy, I better look around. Very Nice Job Guys, Thank You.
What I would love to see is all the prototypes. I am sure there's something in the prototypes I like better than the final product. Not to say there's anything wrong with the final product. It's just not my thang.
I really like that! It's ... well... some out of the ordinary... 🤔 (I'm still waiting for turtles/tortoises(?) as inlays, though, similar to how PRS does it with birds.... 😳😳)
I love your products man, I don’t own a Medowhawk but I remember this release though. This was right around the time I started getting into your product. Since then I’ve sold my actual Fenders and all I own now as far as S or T style axes is indeed Warmoth 🤙 I’m waiting to order a custom Tele body with LP controls, binding and a figured top from you guys, ( Famous last words ‘This is my last one’ LOL!~ ). Keep doing these awesome videos Aaron and thanks. Tommy~
@@schmoemi3386 waiting is always a better choice, simply because if you just rush in and order whatever it is you just might decide there was a better option that might appeal to you 😉
@@TommySG1 It seemed to me that you already figured out what the best body configuration might be, i.e. what you want!? So why wait? You're aware that if you just wait... and wait... and wait... you'll *never* receive that body!? 😅😅
