Tbh at least they have something lol i cant be mad when simagic is trying qnd i mean they make the hardware. Simhub having more and always having more makes sense to em when thats simhubs job to have all of these extra features for so much that everyone loves. So for me it mskes sende if all software had as much as them then simhub wouldnt be worth it for people who have brands and can use there oen software. Which is why simhub works so hard on staying ahead. They want to give people a reason to use it. I never expect brands oen software to actually beat simhub we all use simhub because of that. Its just good and most brwnds know this 3rd party application is out there which is why they are trying to make things that can work with it.
All simagic haptics went off in 2 months, shifter went off in few weeks, pedals never worked properly, handbrakes disconnects at will, simagic ultimate wheelbase feels like a sponge, what a shitty chinese product company, not even looking back at this grbage anymore
Wow that is absolutely miserable. That’s a TON of money. Did you buy simagic direct or through a supplier? Was there any warranty to follow up on? Discord help?
@@ss0op supplier from europe, i folowed with pedals only, they sent me springs instead of pads, it made matter even worse, everything else srtarted to cllapse so switched to simucube wheel, simucube active pedal, heusinkveld clutch, and its another level and precision, simagic hardware is sitting in the corner, my conscience does not allow me to sell this shit to another racer

@@rms_6401 damn, no warranty anymore? I've had some problems which I taught was a hardware problem, but in the end the culprit was the APP of some usb connected fanhub (RGB fans from reputable brand Lian-LI) that was causing weird disconnects on several USB devices of my simrig. Closing down the app after booting the pc solved everything for me...
I’ve always felt sim pro to be lacking with the internal features for the wheels and haptics. But love the layout of it for its simplicity on calibration and adjustment for base and basic pedal function.

Thank you for the information. I think I watched nearly all videos on RU-vid how to configure the motors. You are the only one which gave advise how to fine tune the effects to your liking. Great hint regarding the telemetry recording. Maybe you could add some information (extra video?) what influence the settings like Gamma factor, Treshold, etc have. I noticed you tweaked them quite a lot.
How does the push start wire up button? Is it just one red and one black wire being wire into the push switch? Do you just ignore the third screw on the back of the switch?
I honestly can’t remember exactly but I know you only use red and black wire on it. I couldn’t get the light to work on the button so abandoned the idea. I believe the button came with a wiring guide that I followed.
Very nice setup man. If you deliberately put more weight into the wheel (not necessarily by racing but more to flex test), does the wheelhub move AT ALL on this cockpit? I was thinking of buying it instead of the more expensive ASR 6, and want to be extra sure that when you're rough (or even unnecessarily rough) with it, nothing moves at all. I will be pairing it with a Simagic Alpha U.
@@waittillfriday8227 I get absolutely ZERO flex, but I am running the alpha and not the alpha u. I would contact ASR and ask what they recommend. Their customer service is top notch!
@@ss0op depends on the kind of gloves you wear. But the grips are definitely a weak Point. Second thing is they are glued to the wheel. So basically if the grips are worn off you cant exchange them + simagic wont acknowledge warranty on grip wear. Truly a disgrace for otherwise a great wheel.
My 24s4 season (and the next ones after it) will be dedicated to reach the highest iRating I'm able to. The best way for me to do so, is not to stick to a car or a series, but to a track. The Nordschleife. Gladfully this track is very popular and even when there wasn't the Ring Meister series, most seasons saw the track being raced about 8 times, with some series going to it regularily (every 2-3 seasons), while others have it every time. That's how I got to my current 5k. And to get the most iRating there's no secret, just win the races. And I can't afford to lose because I didn't practice enough. So my personal schedule will consist of waking up 3h before work to practice the car I'll race the next week, while on the evening I'll race the series of the current week. And repeat. I practice the cars by giving myself 2 days to get used to them, or remember how to drive them if I already did in the past, and to fine tune the setup if the series allows to. Then I'll practice every sector one after the other until I feel satisfied with the time to use as a benchmark for qualifying runs next week. All of that doesn't make me practice actual racing, but it's not really an issue, against most of the drivers I'll get out of reach after a couple corners, if not straight from the start. And the couple ones that will keep up or outpace me will have a similar or higher iRating and know how much they would lose if they try anything silly. So always very respectful and enjoying battles.
Jumping back on the track into on coming traffic is NOT the way to gain the respect of your fellow drivers. No reason to even entertain the rest of your strategies how to be an idiot on the track.
50:10 it's your sectors, there's no way to see from other drivers. It doesn't show any best lap because you didn't complete a clean one, as soon as you get at least 1 inc it won't be saved.
46:40 when looking for a driver in particular, you can click on the helmet and that will display the whole list of drivers so you can directly click on their names
30:45 corner's named Schwalbenschwanz, meaning "swallow tail", because the 2 corners looked like the tip of one to the eyes of the workers when the track was built.
14:10 I think most of the cars don't have their wheel able to turn over 540, for example the Audi 90 GTO is at about 450. My wheel is set up at 900 as on some games like Assetto Corsa they have cars that can go that far, and every sim out there automatically limit the range of steering by car, so back to my GTO, when I reach the car's limit, my wheel automatically resists turning further. I'd recommend you to get a too large range of steering to be sure that you will be able to always use all of the car's turning. Because even if most of the time you don't need to turn that much, on very slow and tight corners like Wehrseifen you will pretty much turn all the way. As long as the car's wheel turns as much as yours the range doesn't matter as it won't change anything on your inputs.
11:30 I recommend you to map a button on your wheel to disable the TC. That way when you're facing the wrong way, you get down into 1st, move by a few mph, then after disabling TC, clutch down, throttle floored and wheel turned one side or the other, then release the clutch and when the car starts to spin let go of the throttle. Voilà, a magnificent U-turn.
10:05 it depends on the track usage. When it's low enough there's little to no rubber layed down so racing line is safe enough, and you want to avoid it only on sections where you need all of the tyre's grip. In the esses you're going through you can go for the line as you're barely turning the wheel.
9:05 With a substantial rallying experience I love the rain, especially when it's not wet enough to go for wet tyres, so you have a car that wants to spin on every occasion, spices up races and also make people do mistakes for my biggest pleasure lol.
7:50 like most racing if not all of them, iRacing is very light on GC and makes eavier use of the CPU. So from the link I shared on your Discord about the Meter Box, your CPU is the concerned component

29:15 My answer is that an activity is a game when you can say that you are playing. And to play means to do any activity without being forced to, without any useful end, and you do to divert yourself and get some pleasure out of it. So as soon as you check that box, you are playing a game, which can totally happen in simracing. On any sport you have professional championships, leagues and tournaments, but you can still play soccer, basket ball and table tennis for example.
15:05 personally I don't use a garage cover, as most of the time I do my own setups, and even when I buy one, I modify it so heavily you have almost nothing in common with the original one lol 😂
Just make your loadcell less stiff. Real life race cars don't have stiff pedals so whatsup with everyone making their simrace pedals death stiff? I don't get it..
Fair point but even the softest elastomers in the p1000s are not very soft. You can definitely just lower the kg requirement in SimPro manager but some would argue that makes it harder to have consistent braking pressures.
I’m not sure whether the basic functions through simagics software will work but I do know that the way I use them in the video will not as it requires simhub to work.
Dude now I know what’s wrong with my irating!!! I’m putting all of these especially the headlights and full send into my game immediately!!! I’ll let you know my results, although I hear some results may vary…. Oh and you earned yourself a subscriber hahaha love it
Another good idea is to build a rig… mine is out of wood, and wasn’t too expensive (besides the seat). And It’s able to hold my pedals without any struggle at all.
@@ss0op Didn’t really take that long either! It’d honestly take less time to drive over to a store, and a junkyard to get some screws, wood, and a seat, and build it, which could all be done in one day, rather than waiting a few weeks for a rig

@@ss0op I did buy the power supply. Here’s what’s strange: if I uncheck “only when pressed” and click Test Now, I can feel them. But if that box is checked, nothing. Nothing in any sim title and nothing from the tests in Effects Profile.
@@bigchild3147 No clue. My only guess is it may have something to do with the pedals. I'm using Heusinkveld Sprints and not the Simagic P2000s. But if you think about it, if you depress the throttle and get wheel spin or press the brake and lock up, the pedal *is* pressed, so it's meaningless to check that box.
I disagree with tip 3, you8 should always fight tooth and nail like your life depends on it. Sim racing should not be fun, it is important where you finish and that every one else is more miserable than you! /s
