Only a tool buys off road tires for street use, lets them age well beyond the point of safe usage, then whines when a responsible company refuses to go along with the foolish decision to keep using them.
How did you get the wires out of the way. I'm in the UK it's in the same position but the wire bundle is right over the pump so I feel it's gonna impede me lifting it straight out
@@Yikes575 the main wires I pulled the rubber grommet out and was able to move wires out of the way. The two wires going across to the transfer pump I had to cut and used butt connectors with sealant
I just got to say something about discount tire also when you retire and you're not making as much money as you were when you were working well discount tire takes your discount credit card away cuz you're not making the same amount of money even though I never miss the payment I paid off probably 13 to 20 sets of tires from them in my lifetime with my sons and my daughters they still took my car away so I'm pretty angry at them.
I bought a pack probably a year ago, and typical Duracell fashion they are corroded and a few are dead this morning,Was going to put two in my olight i3t plus, but going back to my harbor freight AAAs and energizer rechargeables and ultimate lithiums
This customer complains about America's tires not wanting to touch his old tire. This is the type of customer that will file a lawsuit against America's tires when the old tire blows out!!!! America's tires is BETTER OFF WITHOUT this type of customer!!!! I like America's Tires. They have always done a great job on my 2 trucks...
There’s another transfer pump on the other side of the tank, did it transfer the fluid over after? Or did you end up having to change the other one also
@@SmooveYBM do you know which one has the fuel level sensor because gauge was still off 1/4 tank. Now I think that might have been why .🤔 I need to get All data
Does it work for radial tires? I have seen video of airing down bias tires. Will it help in Texas clay? I got my 2 wheel drive Pickup stuck in my yard twice.
you really don't understand the function of this bag. its a stowable bag meant to put into a larger pack and take out after setting up base camp to make day excursions with. that's why its lightweight and frameless and minimal. those are trekking pole holders and they're extremely useful for peak baggers while scrambling. the port for the bladder is there at the top, you just need room temperature IQ to locate it. if you don't like the bag, fine, just say so. don't make up a bunch of crap though. MR makes some damn good bags. you have to know which bag is useful for which function. this requires some reading between the lines because all pack manufacturers are bad at stating the design functions of their packs, except maybe Deuter, and the reason they do this is to market the bags to any gullible schmuck who comes along. but each bag is made for a purpose and unless you understand and do your shopping around, then you'll end up with a disappointing product. i will give you that they should have put two side pockets on there. that's just kind of dumb. i believe they were trying to keep the pack at one pound or less but what's a couple more ounces in the long run? if MR wants to improve this pack, which I believe has potential, they should add a pocket to the other side, make the pockets mentioned all a wee bit larger, and place some foam or padding where the bag rests on the back. its okay if it'd fold up slightly larger. i for one, wouldn't mind a little more weight and space for a better bag. I am tempted to buy this bag only because it is MR, and I know they make great stuff. I have their Coulee 20 which is bad-ass and I love. its a much different type of pack though. it has a frame for instance. but I believe I'll be buying the REI Flash 22 instead of this pack. I think REI got that one just right. the Flash 22 doesn't fold into itself like this pack here, but it can easily be wrapped up and compressed to place into a larger pack. hopefully MR makes some improvements, iistens to their customers, and improves this pack.
Is this on the left side of the Kia? Where the fuel pump is located? Cause my brother in law has taken out the fuel gauge n it’s on the left side. It didn’t have the extra wires to put the fuel pump in. It had one hose on top.
You're being a cry baby . One situation and you want EVERYBODY to leave Discount Tire. Yes, you are whining like a "Karen". NOBODY will treat folks as good as Discount Tire, but because they make a decision you disagree with, not only do you leave with your little red wagon, but just like all the other crybabies in this country who throw their temper tantrums because things don't go their way, you become destructive. This is your way. You don't go break glass and burn buildings. You try to destroy their name publicly. It's sad. My thoughts are that you should put your big boy pants on, remove this video, apologize to Discount Tire PUBLICLY and take your business back to them.
@@sheerwillsurvival2064mines brand new and the bottle wouldn’t fit at all with the cap so maybe they have made the hole smaller. Im in Australia and wondered what the straps were for 😂
You obviously know nothing about rubber compounds and the effects heat and ozone have on them,I learned the hard way..The 10 year cut off for nonservice is direct recommendation's from the tires manufacturer and damn near all reputable tire service center will not service tires over 10 years old. I have(had) a 66 Chevrolet SS I took to a service center, not discount tire 2 years ago for a tire rebalance. Tires were 13 years old and they would not touch(same seasons for discount tire) the tire,in which i wasnt happy. I refused to replace the tires because as you thought, it was a sales scam. Fast forward three weeks later, while driving to a car show my left rear tire blew out on what looked like a perfectly good tire with less than 8,0000 miles on them. Long story short my once beautiful car was totaled to loss of control and hitting a cement embankment. I only wish i would have listened and and did my research,if so my car would be sitting in my garage and not a junk yard. I googled tire age restrictions and that are pages upon pages of the detriment of over aged tires. Do your research before you start bad mouthing a business for trying to keep safe and you car out of a scrap pile.
Nice video. I'm assuming the little noise made by the crossbow on release is the string slapping on a hard part. Is there a way to make crossbows even quieter?
Yeah there are silencers that go on the rails I will have to eventually invest in them. It was a target crossbow so it didn’t come with them. Hunting crossbows come equipped with them 👍🏻
I work at Discount Tire and tires over 10 years older could become dangerous to work on. It is a liability issue. It’s not a scam or a method to get you to buy new tires but simply to ensure the safety of the techs who would be working on the tire
@owenmahorny3450 ; I agree with you 100% The people that complain about Discount Tires Not servicing there old tires are the same people that Sue Discount Tires when there old tires blow out and cause an accident....
@@owenmahorny3450 I personally Like & Respect the Discount / Americas tire techs. They do a GREAT JOB!!!! It all comes back to what my mother use to say, "There are just some people that you Can't Make Happy"!
Thanks for posting this video. I thought I was going crazy with an intermittent squeak in my car that I couldn’t pinpoint. Did your proposed fix and it solved it.
Why the hell does the age of the tire matter for them? If you want your tires rotated and are gonna pay them for their services why does it make a difference to them what year the tires are? Lol
I started making my own test leads because I do electrical testing for electrical distribution equipment, as well as controls those banana jacks with the set screw are nice when a lead breaks or insulation gets damaged just cut the damaged part and replace the jack better than having to run to the nearest hardware store hoping they have some half decent leads
Hahaha. That’s what I thought. Started with the pink and became red at the end. But it’s still the same. I have just changed my coolant also on my 2017 Camry after 50k miles. Didn’t do the spark plug yet waiting to reach 120k miles. I’m at 109k right now. Thanks for video!
I used them for a bit. Needless to say, I became very familiar with the cleaning procedure for battery contacts. Everyone else I knew that bought them, same issue. Can't say I didn't warn them, but they still bought them because of the Duracell name.
the problem is the pressure groups that influence the proxy voting organisations. they bully the leaders to accept the insane criteria. also you have people like larry fink. IDK if he is promoting it of his own volition or because of pressure groups. but many of those people in those possitions are perverts. it is a communist tactic used by mao. see the speech about critical theory in the eu parliament.
They lost my business last week... I bought my F250 23 years ago and put 4 sets of tires on it since I bought it, always the same size 315/75R16s on the factory 16x7 inch rims. 200,000 miles on those size tires and ZERO issues. Now, I go to buy my 5th set and they say "The rim is 1/2 inch too narrow for those tires, we won't mount them..." ..even after looking back that I had bought the same damn tires from THEM for 23 years. I picked up my rims, went to Belle Tire and they said "Certainly, sir...we'll get you all taken care of!" Also, Belle Tire offers 10% discount to Vets and First Responders...Discount Tire used to , but now it's 5%. They lost my business for life.
You should research what this was before you bought it. It wasn’t meant for you to use like you are saying you wanted to. It was meant for a lightweight, packable backpack for checking out a city while on vacation type of thing.
Yeah I got some of their other stuff. My point is it was missing basic things needed in ALL packs . Fanboys don’t do their research either before committing. Even a pack for walking a city as you say should be able to hold standard bottles and bladders without adding weight
