This is incredible work. I'm just starting to delve into 68K asm coding on Amiga. Using modern tools like the VScode amiga assembly extension I can do all dev/assembly work on a PC and launch in an emulator, which is much better and way faster than using the traditional Amiga apps in the emulator. Having a modern DPaint compatible app alongside that can import modern image formats and export IFF/ILBM will really add to and enhance that workflow. Kudos!
This pixel art by Steffest for the old school gfx competition at Revision 2024 is absolutely stunning! I'm particularly impressed by how the Revision logo was cleverly integrated as a reference for the circular element in the artwork. Watching this come to life is truly spectacular!
This is fantastic 👏🏼. Delux paint was the first software for me both pixel drawing and animation. I did hundreds of animation with Delux paint. So i need to ask, sorry 🫣, will animation feature come in to future too?
Yes, 100% sure, animation support will be included. In fact - the .anim file format is already supported for reading, but not for writing yet. An animation (like an .anim or an animated GIF) is currently "just mapped to different frames" and there are no playback controls yet, but at least it's a hint that animation support is being worked on. Main focus of the next release is to get the color cycling exactly right, animation will be next.
