Th city council and whomever is approving and responsible of such intensely fast growth in that town is pissing people off. I remember people loved living there because there weren’t very many people at all, it stayed relatively small, now this place is almost unlivable. Too many people moving to Palm Coast and they hadn’t even finished with their city center! Takes way too long to cross town because of the ridiculous traffic, so the city wanted all this growth and didn’t plan for the traffic congestion. What is wrong with these people approving of this crap? I get it, growth is important, but you’re growing a population of a town that wasn’t meant for such high growth so soon and so fast. Growth should be a goal You achieve over the course of a few decades. Not in just 5 years. I’m so sick of being around people in this town it’s unreal, most of these people are from New York or other northern states. So they drive like morons. Always on your rear end even though the roads have you go at a decent rate of speed through town. Palm coast is not worth living in right now. They need to slow it down.
This video is very well done. How is this going? In my hometown in Florida, City voted to rezone a portion of my historic residential neighborhood to allow for STR. The petitioners: non-resident investors.
You think he will?? p.s. you did a really good job with this video. If De Santis could hear it this way, he would veto. What happened in my hometown was not good. I filed an appeal which is still under consideration.
@@bobt8785 Thank you! You have no idea how much I appreciate that. As for SB280, I certainly hope he does. He has 12 days left to veto it. It just doesn't make any sense. Are you in Florida?
Kim, looks like your pulling late hours, else early starts! :) Yes, I’m in Florida. Caveat: in DC at this moment for work, home is in Florida. Small town on the beach. Counting on this to get vetoed. If it’s briefed to him as “tourist and economy”, he’ll sign. If it’s briefed to him as “dismantling residential neighborhoods and edging out family”, he’ll veto. I’m fine with STRs next door for a young couple with children and a door key from a realtor or owner, the way it used to be. But not four car loads of spring breakers with an entry code. AirBnB (out-of-town virtual realtor) is the problem. Serious problem.
@@bobt8785 Couldn't agree more. We have some wonderful local property managers. They do a great job vetting the guests. We will see what happens. Appreciate your comments. Thanks again for watching!

@@staugustineliving Indian Trails section. I door dash all of Palm Coast and see the rapid decline from just 5 years ago. Getting just like Long Island.
@@CMichaels56 Florida definitely changed due to Covid so yes things are a bit more crowded. Indian Trails tends to be a desirable area for schools and I know a lot of families are looking in Palm Coast now for it's affordability. I don't see the area ever going back to what it was 5 years ago. There are a lot of positives though. I love all of the trails and how easy it is to just be outside.
I lived close by to where you’re at. I do agree this town is overrun by way too much growth way too soon. My parents have said in just the last 3 years traffic is out of control and takes way too long to cross town, it’s almost way too difficult to go to the beach as well. Idk about weed or the smell, I didn’t have that issue, but I will agree on everything else. I think this town needs to stop making all this growth without making sure it has the proper attention to hold that many people. Took me forever to get a low paying job because i was constantly competing with all the new people coming in. Thats just ridiculous to me.
I live in Palm Coast. I have lived in 7 states and 6 countries. Something I always look for when shopping for a house. The drive home with mom. I cannot find an ugly way to drive to my house. Every road is nice to stunningly beautiful. Plus unlimited miles of sidewalks and parks.
Settling cracks are normal. The pre-slab inspection I'm referencing wouldn't be an engineer review, it would be to inspect the slab preparation prior to the cement pour. How wide is the crack that you have in your garage?
I have it in the house from kitchen to bath2 to bedroom 2 which is the entire width of the house. Also entire width of the garage. Some areas are 1/8th of an inch and some 1/16th. The builder is not approving our request for independent review of the cracks.
In the house the flooring has not been installed yet and we have requested independent third party review which has not been approved. May I send you an email with the builders name. I can include pictures as well.
what if my house isn't selling and when I ask my agent why I just get "don't beat yourself up". What does that mean? I went with their price, every review states "house is gorgeous, shows well. Keep us in the loop".....I'm in the best area in town, but I do live in a "connecting" street, a bit more traffic than a side street (but not on a main street). I'm trying to adjust, but I'm not getting anywhere...

I used to live at 536 solo court Saint Augustine, FL in Saint Augustine Shores! Look up the address! I moved out in 2009 and I am now In Kansas. I loved living so close to the club house abd pier! I miss it dearly, Kim!
Wow Kim, you hit everything that we’re concerned about moving there. We love St. Augustine and hopefully we can get there, but I’m worried about all the topics you discussed. Thanks for all the videos they’re wonderful.
There are two rooms I wanted to paint but my agent said not to bother. She also told me not to bother fixing my low water pressure and dishwasher but I'm doing it all anyway. Why would she tell me not to bother? I don't get it!
I’m not sure why she would tell you that. Painting is your best return on investment and if there is something wrong with your dishwasher, it will get picked up in an inspection. What market are you in? Are you seeing multiple offers? She may be saying that because your market is Hot. I would just ask her what her reasoning is.
@@staugustineliving Thank you for answering! My house is not live yet so I don’t have offers. I’m located in New England in the state of Rhode Island. She did say she’s confident my house will sell quickly.
@@CatsAreNiceMeow You're welcome. That is good to hear but don't hold back if you have questions. You are the client and you want to make sure your house is presented in the best possible way when you hit the market. Good luck!
It depends on the height of the walls. If it requires using a ladder, some of us are not comfortable with heights and would need to hire a painter, and they charge tons for their labor.
