Did you all know that Tim Hortons is also one of the few food places that get to deploy with the military. The military is the biggest consumer of tim hortons so much so that there is a Tim hortons on every base in Canada
Tim hortons needs to go back and just focus on the basic stuff coffee restaurants not fast food restaurant. I worked at tim hortons twice and it definitely has changed alot over time.
All of the jobs that used to employ young people where i live only employ "international students" now. The quality has gotten so bad and the people are so rude that i don't even bother eating out anymore. Oh well its healthier for me so if the tradeoff of hiring cheap labour is worth losing customers to them then that's their choice i guess 🤷♂️
Ever since Burger Slime 😂 bought out Timmies, it has nose dive into one of the worst coffee shops; if you're in the larger cities, they have workers that can not even speak English, and they can not determine the difference between Milk and Cream. And if you try to talk to some of them, they only speak the Indian language, and if you can't, they will ignore you and refuse to even deal with you. I sware the newcomers screw your orders if you're not of their people. Brampton is the worst I've ordered the same coffee for 45 years and they think i order a steeped tea and other BS Brampton is the worst they will even say you card didn't go though and say it 3 or 4 times and it turns out they try to charge you extra over and over. brampton Timmies are thives
Ordered 4 PLAIN timbits (for my dog), and 1/2 small black coffee. (I use coffee as a migraine nuker). Got 2 chocolate and 2 coconuts (not even ones i coukd eat), a large black coffee, completely full. I told them to dump the coffee and keep only 1/4 of it (,if its there i will drink it, and then all hell breaks loose 😅). Only noticed the timbits as i was back on the road. I used to work at timmies 35 years ago. Its no longer worth it. I get better coffee at mcd's
Yes the coffee sucks but not when your me sleeping outside and someone asks if you want coffee and food and comes back with wraps and a THERMAL with coffee in it. They bought me both. I prefer their donuts and timbits but I will never forget the generosity of the person that helped me get my first thermal so im hydrated and kept warm. Its for cool and hot temp. Im a Starbucks fan and I still think the donuts at Tims are good and THEIR PIZZA. 3rd best pizza! Looks can be deciving. I cant compare old tims since I didnt drink or eat there during those years. it was a mcds childhood for me. As an adult i enjoy tims pasteries and starbucks coffee and their entire menu almost.
10% of the population has got a wheat allergy or sensitivity, a gluten allergy or sensitivity or celiac disease or a nut allergy. Tim Hortons doesn't serve anything for. They are literally saying they don't want 10% of the population in their stores. I have celiac disease and cant have anything they sell. I can't even have a coffee or a tea because there's no guarantee the worker has washed their hands or changed their gloves between customers so theres a risk of cross-contamination. For the last 10 years the only reason I go into Tim Hortons is to use the toilet (and even then I try not to because they're filthy). For 10% of the population Tim Hortons is literally a toilet.
I hear ya! Terrible disease to have. But would you really want some bozo making you a gluten free sandwich. You're probably better off not even having the option. Tim Hortons is way overrated anyway, you're not missing much.
I work at tims right now last sun day someone killed there dog and thur it in my manger car like tf why not a customer why do this to a tims worker js yall need to stopp messing with us we just trying to make a living
@lg8587 I wish I was joking then proceed to come in to let us know there dog was Mia we only knew the owner of the dog did it was cuz we check the camera and I had to go check to see if the dog was actually in there cuz my manager was in tears over it
Thanks for calling out the truth! I never go there anymore. They always mess up my order....the bagels are hard same with the donuts. I go to Country Style now. Looks like old school days.
Y'know, I'm a White brovva, maybe some think I don't have a valid opinion on something like this, but maybe it takes an outsider to give an objective take sometimes. So here goes: the festival is representative of all the Caribbean Isles, as specifically filtered through the lens of Toronto (which, as that one lovely lady pointed out, is a melting pot). As such, music reflective of the Caribbean culture(s) should be played, whether that's Soca, Reggae, or whatever else. I do hope Roots Reggae (and not only Dancehall) gets some play, in respect to the Rastafarian bredren as well.

I worked at Tim's for 5 years all through high school. It really is an easy job. The hardest part is dealing with customers. It's crazy how bad the service and food is now when it's so easy to make everything.
