As a Christian I felt convicted watching the first episode of The Chosen! (Later the LORD showed me why.) Stranger Things is demonic. It is not good for the mind/spirit/soul and I guarantee the LORD wouldn't watch something like that. Please pray about it and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you. As for watching sermons... please do not listen to Mike Todd! He is NOT a true man of God. There are MANY wolves in sheep's clothing preaching another (false) gospel and he is one of them! On the other hand, Voddie Baucham, John MacArthur, and Paul Washer are TRUE men of God! Their sermons are biblical! It is SO important to have discernment as Christians, especially in this day and age! God bless!

Think about black people who actually had to deal with this from everyone in the world and you want to have the nerve to sit on here and complain most of not ALL Indians have melanin. I’m glad I found this review. I came across an excerpt from her book and then a video interview but as I started to listen to her literally under 5 mins I was like this isn’t for me. I’m a Christian woman going through separation and I don’t want to be told to be wild and free 😂. It actually goes against Christian values. I’ve done that before and ended up in this marriage. Hopefully her second marriage works out and I have nothing against her. It’s just not something I feel as though will help me through what I am if that makes sense. I was recommended a book a long time ago which was very liberating to women and sexuality, like I said I think had I been more focused on God and not my liberation I would have noticed more red flags before this relationship. God does not tell us to follow our hearts bc our hearts are wicked above all things and not to be trusted. We should pray for discernment and wisdoms which God gives liberally. it feels so good to have someone exactly like me who is dark skinned indian and christian. i always get discriminated for my skin color and some people don’t even want to call me indian because of my name and skin i get called black instead(no hate to u gorgeous black people out there i just don’t feel appreciated getting called a different race). it’s so sad this happens to me by indians😭
Issue one: although i believe the spirit behind the Bible, the Holy Spirit, is completely pure, the Bible is in some ways worse than game of thrones, There is extreme violence, rape, insect, even Satan speaks...thus i believe it is hypocritical to say read the Bible but do not watch game of thrones for God do not baby us in the Bible nor shield us from the reality of evil. But that's not the biggest issue. Jesus didn't stay in heaven where there was peace. He came into a world of sin without participating in it. Reading your bible watching Christian movies and tv shows is fine, but if you want to do damage in the kingdom of darkness, you have to get in the game
if the Bible is so original tell me why the Greek God Dionysus also was born of a virgin also turned water into wine at a wedding also died and rose again, also rode a donkey in victory. The New Testament is an invention of the Flavian Roman dynasty and is straight out of Greek mythology. Jesus this character was used as political propaganda to get control of the Jewish population. Look at the work of Joseph Atwill who proves this.

Many Indians look African in skin color but don't look African in facial features but closer to Europeans. Then we have many Indians in far East India that look east Asian.
You don’t get permanent dark skin from the sun tho. I’m a black person and I’m the same tone as you and when I stay in the sun long time (if it’s hot) I get darker too, but that darker tone doesn’t stay) over time my old tone comes back. Do you know that light skinned people, white people do not absorb/synthesize the rays of the sun, the sun has no place in them,,,,,,, think about that, there is no relationship between them and the Lord of Creation and they know it and this is where the racism comes from. I actually feel sorry for and pray for them.
You are beautiful Nina. I am an Indian from Malaysia and everthing you say resonates. Only in my 50s, i learnt to accept and love my skin tone. It also didnt help that the makeup available from off the counters didnt have foundation tones for the tanned race. Its really silly, come to think of it. But society and peers have been notorious for this. We need to be comfortable in our skin and celebrate it. Love you!
