Had my AVM rupture back in May of 2000. Was 10 years old when my rupture happened. Was luckily at home with my parents when the rupture started. Was rushed to the hospital flatlined for a bit CPR was done and brought back. Had a CT scan and they could see swelling in my brain. They asked my family if I had been in an accident to cause this. After the MRI they new it was a brain AVM Rupture. Ended having 4 surgeries done. I’m stuck on seizure meds forever but as long as I take them I won’t have a seizure. My physical health looks great & not noticeable of any damage. Biggest problem is my short term memory loss. Multitasking can be a trick. Do have a job and drive but am stuck on pills 💊 forever.
