Born in 1991 in Istanbul, Başak Gümülcinelioğlu is an actress, architect, singer, songwriter, translator and child and animal rights activist. Other than her own songs such as "Sen çal kapımı" "Neler Mümkün" "Kiraz", she has her Acoustic Cover Music Show named #İstekŞarkı on RU-vid, every Sunday.


She has performed in popular TV series such as Yargı, Sen, Ben, O, Sen Çal Kapımı, Erkenci Kuş, Yarım Kalan Aşklar, and she still continues her career in this field as an actress. Her song Sen Çal Kapımı, which she sang in the TV series Sen Çal Kapımı, with lyrics and composition (with Kaya Çandar), was awarded the "Best TV Series Music" award at the Number One Video Music Awards.
In addition to the TV series, she gave concerts on big stages such as Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open Air Theatre and Maslak Uniq Hall, in the projects of Murathan Mungan songs with the Istanbul Symphony Orchestra and Nazım Hikmet songs with the Ferhat Livaneli Orchestra.
