So there’s 4 Plato’s stores in my area, 2 different ownerships groups owning 2 stores each. They run different sales than eachother so I end up with a lot of opportunities to get discounts from 20-30% off weekends all the way up to 70% off for their clearance, at worst i’ll have 20% off through their rewards program
Always appreciate your videos! I don't know how you get the good deals at Savers. the Savers I go to in kc is so expensive. I can never find anything to flip, so I've given up going there.
I appreciate you! If i'm at savers I pretty much have to have a 20% coupon or there has to be some sale going on because they are insane on prices for the most part. I will give them some credit though because i've stopped at other Savers stores in Chicago and Arkansas and the prices at those ones were waaaay worse than mine. Go Chiefs!
Haven’t seen such great brand knowledge since Big Yumbo, and I’ve been following him for over a year. Can you do a video on how you tackle research? Great videos, new subscriber!
I have a canon toney cartridge and it shows 2018 on the back. I'm not sure if it expired in 2018 or was packaged in 2018. Do you have put an expiration for the ink in the listing? Thanks!
So toner cartridges won’t have an expiration date on them, while they technically don’t expire they are definitely less likely to work if they are super old. Your cartridge should be fine since it was made around 2018. A good way to tell if a cartridge is okay is to look at the comps and see if the box designs are the same as yours. If your design seems older and isn’t showing up in the comps then it has probably been deemed as too old by the toner companies that buy cartridges on ebay
Thanks for this. Lots of good info. I restarted eBay selling after some years away back in May and am currently at 100 or so items and have a 60% STR for my store over the last three months. Really enjoying the treasure hunt for good inventory- I love to thrift! Great find on those Nike Skeleton tees- and right before Halloween to boot!
Nice! It’s all about the treasure hunt isn’t it? I swear if I won the lottery tomorrow I would still be reselling just for fun. I didn’t even think about Halloween coming up with those shirts, it makes sense now! Btw, thanks for letting me know about the audio on last video!
@@EthanLupoI love ebay ! In your opinion do you think it's bad to buy shoes on eBay ? I like Jordans but what I like on eBay is there not expensive like on other websites.
I don’t think its bad to buy shoes on ebay at all! I buy all of my clothing at thrift stores or on ebay, it saves me money, helps me get unique pieces, and buying used is better for the environment. There are fakes on ebay sometimes though so shop smart!
I think my store page states my household is “pet friendly”, but I dont believe my description currently says anything. I know it should though, i’ve been procrastinating writing a new description template that does state I have cats. I make sure I lint roll everything during the photo/inventory process though, i’ve never had a message about any cat hair
Hi Peggy, thanks for watching! Most of the items in this video were from Platos Closet, so they were a little more expensive but as you can see the quality was way better than most stuff I find at thrift stores. I sell plenty for things that are worth $25 and under too, they just don’t make it into the video of course
Dam good marketplace find! Its been a hot minute since Ive found anything to flip on marketplace or offer up. Like years haha I remember it was a sega saturn with 10 games for $50. Dirty dwarves, In the hunt, and mega man were in the lot. Anyways nice video man. If I ever did yt id have a weird top ten sales this last week 😆
You aren’t alone on that marketplace struggle, i’ve been lucky recently but before that its been chaos! Even if I find something good and get a meetup scheduled someone offers more before I pick it up and the seller ghosts me! Nice find on that sega for sure, all the saturn stuff i’ve come across has sold great
@@EthanLupo Yea 90% of offer up is resellers now lol....and the ones that aren't are hunted down like sheep lol Luckily I havnt had to source from these places, but I have to say in the last 6 months the abundance of great stuff has slowed down. I still end up finding crazy rare, and valuable stuff all the time cause I'll dig, and look where no one will haha. Now that I've been doing clothes too it makes things more complicated. Should I check the hard goods for the bigger flips first!? Or should I spend an hr or more going through clothes to maybe find 1 or 2 pieces then miss all the hard good haha Ive never made it to more than 3 thrifts in one day 😅
@@EthanLupo That wasn't a quest btw my bad lol that's just what I tell myself. Usually I make the decision just to check clothes, shoes, hats, ties, belts then go. Then I get caught up in books next thing you know I'm in the bags finding briggs & Stratton, and looking up what year of jeep does this soft top go to 😆 What state you in?
@@DrewM86 I'm in Missouri, our Goodwill network has their own ebay store so the selection has dipped a little in the past couple years but if you stay on top of your research its still pretty easy to catch them slipping. I will say I think most of the stores have reasonable pricing so I am thankful for them!
@EthanLupo Nice man! I'm from Missouri! Lol Joplin.....I just found goodwill slippin on a double RL old fashion motorcycle hat like 4 hrs ago haha already listed. I'm live in Phoenix now. I left missouri about 9 years ago but I've got alot of memories for sure
Doing 10k in just clothes is no easy feat. Good job man! Also those boston birkenstocks are great I sold a pair for 200 awhile back. They were a size 16 I beleive
If I ever said I get 20% off at Goodwill I misspoke. I get 20% at Savers almost every visit through their rewards program (spend $100 and get a 20% off coupon). At Goodwills I can get 25%, 50%, or 75% off through a colored tag sale, but items would have to be multiple weeks old at that point to reach discount so I rarely get discounts at Goodwill
More cat footage please. Great haul. BTW, some American Apparel stuff sells for $$ (e.g. Disco pants, bodysuits, etc). Mostly the very spandex, 80’s looking stuff.
I will use an excuse possible to show the kitties 🫡 Thanks for the tips btw, i’m probably gonna be getting into womens clothing soon and i’ll definitely be looking for those disco pants
Thats weird, i’ve sold Monster stuff before and they haven’t VeRod me for it yet. I’ll make sure I call it the risks in the future and update if they ever do VeRo me, thank you!
I enjoy how you get straight to the point! ! I watch other channels but they spend half the video either complaining about the goodwill cashiers or saying hi to each viewer on their live even though I’m watching the replay. 20 minutes of their 40 min video is them saying hi to viewers. Didn’t know about the Tilley hat. Thanks!!
Pretty sure that Balmain polo was real. That account you linked to has a lot of feedback and looks to be a liquidator/wholesaler of high end department store brands in Europe. Probably from Macy's and higher end stores like that, or just owns a boutique. But I dont think he's selling fake stuff. If yours had the inner tags like shown in the listing it's almost definitely legit
I cut this part out of my voice over because I was rambling pretty bad, but there was a second store that was listing the same stuff and using the same pictures and was also located in Israel, they had a negative feedback from someone saying their item was fake. Either way though, I didn’t have enough information to feel confident enough selling, I don’t wanna risk my ebay account over a shirt that would have sold for less than $200, better safe than sorry!
