I know this is actually a late comment for this video but I played the first two yo Kai watches and I know that the bug catching isn’t exactly rng. If you press A while the spinner is still over a bar, it is almost always going to land back in that same exact spot.
It's very clear this fun game isn't a Pokemon clone. It just take the gimmick of recruiting allies from Dragon Quest 5 and is most likely took many ideas from a previous Level-5 game, Ni no Kuni: Dominion of the Dark Djinn.
Ayashamon, i think its, yes he is kinda simple but has a personality, and him being a battle maniac that finds a reason to do that , in fun fights, and he is kinda simple but he is a personality too. I dont get why you want an overly complicated character and not one that , its not the deepest wold ever but lively, (and pretty sure ther would be more politicing , like the one party would have been a start, and, i am pretty sure the author rushed it to , yeah the author if having any end, he focused on the character having a breakthrough and be ready, and as does the mafia stuff. It wouldnt be as fun if it were tooo complicated. I like the main character, bloody let characters just be fun and not too complicated in a fun world. Also the main character is a mattle maniac with a protagonist complex that develos and grows, and is fun as being very strong , but also, not a demon, and till he can learn to punch concepts, outclassed still and has to be tricky.
The hunters guild red hood and ginka and gluna were my favriotes when they were getting released and i have no idea why these stories got axed with how much personality and potential they had

Agravity Boys and PPPPPP were my favorite series that were axed. And to be honest they lasted longer than most axed series but still not long enough. I have the japanese volumes for both series and their first chapter's jump issue since well never get an english one and I loved them so much.
Agravity Boys sounded familiar, but I never read it. PPPPPP on the other hand really stood out to me when it came out and I really wish it continued. I also was able to get a few of the volumes for it as well and I really want to get the rest of them
I was a broke kid in America but I am so glad I at least had cable. Yo-Kai watch is so good and literally raised thousands to millions of kids in 2014… I wish my family were as fortunate as we are right now so I could have experienced Yokai watch on the 3DS.

I haven't finished the video yet, but you made me wanna replay Bravely Default. I remember getting it a few days after my birthday the year I got my 3DS. It makes me wanna not only play this game, but Bravely Second and Bravely Default II. I love seeing super long videos come up on my feed.

It will also become more difficult to play as that hardware ages as the game made use of some of the more unique aspects of the 3DS IYKYK. Major Spoilers for the Bravely series ahead: The Bravely games love their 4th wall breaks every game has this aspect. The first game uses the people you met along the way as other worlds. Second takes full advantage of the concept of NG+. BD2 has you engaging with other players as a part of expeditions only to flip the script by having what’s been happening in those expeditions affect your run through the games final area. I’d say the most unique thing is the 3DS camera is used to hint at who the Celestials are in BD1 and Second AKA ITS YOU!!! Now it is easy to tweak these features for say a PC release but you will lose some of the novelty as a result such is the case with a lot of games that feature unique gimmicks.
Also, if you're ever looking for new games to take a look at, try the Zoids Saga series(Saga 2 was localized as Zoids Legacy and Saga DS is an upgraded compilation of the previous Saga games and has a fan translation out these day) And the Phantasy Star series(mainly the original quadrilogy, but the others like Online, Portable, and Zero are all good too.)

Came for the Bravely Default. Left because SEVEN AND A HALF FRICKING HOURS get an editor! A real shame though, 'cause not enough people are talking about Bravely Default. I mean, yeah, there's Bravely Default II, but it's just really not the same experience as the OG or the superior sequel Bravely Second.
