Great choice. I love vintage, they are so unique. I have some older Gucci bags (2010) and a favorite Chanel Jumbo Black Caviar Silver Hardware Single Flap (17 years) that I prefer vintage. I even restored some old LVs because I loved them so much. Thank you for your video. I like them. LYXBAGS
I’m uninterested in spending my money on a brand that makes me feel unwelcome, inadequate, unreasonable, &/or can’t commit to inventory availability. I understand some bags are more difficult to obtain due to popularity &/or purposely limiting production numbers. However, I expect a certain insider knowledge or effort from a SA. If you don’t have the item, please tell me when it will become available or what store does have it in their inventory? When will your next shipment come in? What are you expecting. Some communication. Hermes doesn’t do any of that & to me that’s the absolute basics. A brand I don’t normally purchase from but recently accompanied my in law on her appointment was Dior . What a lovely sales experience. They offered us tea & sweets, champagne, water were incredibly friendly & managed to point my in law to a few items she’d be interested in that are on their soon to arrive inventory lists. I was impressed with the sales experience.
Yup I feel for u. Walk into Hermes Barcelona. They don’t care to acknowledge u there either. Swarmed with people tourists etc and no SA available to help u. Turned me off on the brand.

Thank you. I haven’t been to my local Hermes in almost 2 years. I like to get things during my travel to commemorate my trip, and that’s why I go to Hermes stores abroad when I have more time for myself. Last trip was to Ireland, and Hermes had no bags and wouldn’t allow customers to touch the display items either. I find Chanel quality not great for price and I’m ambivalent on Dior now. That said, I bought a beautiful big YSL clutch with gorgeous leather and I’m very impressed with quality and price. Leather inside and out for way under 1000! Thanks for watching! 😘

See this is the issue - how is what you are staring at not available! It's such BS - I have 2 Birkins and got them both pre-loved. I have been in a number of different Hermes stores around the US and Europe and they all are the same - they treat you like crap. I won't play the game. If I want Hermes stuff I get it off the site or pre-loved.
The fact that you saw them offer that couple a blk bag makes me believe you had every right to ask for that bag since they didn’t want it. The game they play is not consistent! I’ve heard people getting a bag with no purchase history and someone else having shopped a lot and still were given the run around of “sorry, we have no bags.” It’s sad that we continue to play their game. Everyone should just boycott Hermes and purchase from other , friendlier brands rather than waste their time and money with Chanel’s price increases and Hermes exclusivity games! Good luck to you ❤

yes... several times. the first was when I asked to see any of their leather bags. they told me they rarely have bags. another store with larger inventory also said this to me. no offer to look at anything else or provide a path to buying one, maybe ordering from another store?. after I acquired my first bag successfully, I thought Id go back in winter and ask for a basic simple small Evelyn in a neutral color. again "we wont have bags until another month." "can I call to make sure since I live out of town?" "no it's first come first serve." then after I bought some jewelry, they said "I can let you know, here is my phone number..." but then they didnt let me know and it's been 9 months. I asked a different store for the same bag, neutral tpm evelyn, and they told me they had no bags other than black garden party. I asked if they had any other bags in any other colors, doesnt have to be neutral. "no sorry you need to make appointments and build a relationship for bags." as I was walking away, the SA goes, "wait do you like green?" and that's how I ended up with my menthe garden party. I like the bag but I dont like the "no we dont have bags" shenanigans. idk how people are OK that they lie to customers and snub them. why is my money not as good as someone else's when it comes to overpriced leather bags? 😞surely there are enough to go around when the resale market is flooded with them.
So true! I just got back from Ireland, and they had bags on display but I was told that it's only for display and couldn't be taken out to touch. They had no bags of any kind. That said, I overheard many customers who were told the same thing. Now, it's become a game for me to see what their responses are when I visit Hermes abroad. hahaha! In Dublin, the Dior store was empty but the Chanel had customers - I didn't buy anything because I think that the quality now doesn't justify prices they're asking. I looked a a classic Chanel WOC in caviar leather, but it just wasn't worth it for me to buy the tiny bag which fits hardly anything for over $3000 Euros. Yes the color of the HIDUPZ is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

You KNEW there was a bag in the store that you liked and they wouldn’t sell it to you! That is ridiculous. I would have left and never purchased Hermes again. WHY do so many people let this happen to them and still give the company their money? You were not a “stinker”! You were trying to cut through the craziness!
Thank you - I haven't bought anything luxury for so long since it's been a crazy couple of years with caring for my parents and renovating a new house. This was always just a fun things to think about and buy - not important in the scheme of life. :-).
*hidupz* , and I don't want to hear anything else. Those guys are sooo good that few of my friends who owns authentic pieces, admited that their bags are 100% like the authentic ones!
