Teaching, Motivating, and Supporting Indoor Growers Worldwide
We are a growing a community of cultivator's. It's not only about growing your own food, it's the process, the journey, the final outcome that we celebrate knowing we grew it, now we can eat it and share it.
Thank you so much for subscribing and becoming part of my growing family, we are here to watch each other grow.
Imagine if every school, grocery store, restaurant, apartment complex, skyscraper building, etc had a semi automated, solar panel covered, shipping container based, hydroponic organic garden.
I was also a hydroponic indoor farming but i don't get a perfect grow light can you tell me about the spec of the light maybe because the grow light is a huge big mistake when your vegetable is grow worst i think maybe because i had maintenance all things like nutrients and many more
Hi! I have been binging your channel for the past few days :) and I am trying to build the same type of set up that you had around the time this was filmed, with this size tent. Unfortunately, your infamous lights are no longer available. Would you happen to have recommendations for others that are similar? There are so many companies trying to scam for grow lights these days and I just need something that will get the job done without being too overpowering. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much for your hard work on this over the years, and most importantly, thanks for inspiring me to grow indoors!
The reason why your plants are dying is because there is a large growth of algae in your tanks because the light was getting through the net pots because of your laziness. You reap what you sow.
@@growindoors365 you already said in your video, you didn’t fill the pots with clay pellets and it lets gaps so big that algae is growing, therefore robbing your plants of oxygen and nutrients.
Hi Mike. Greetings from Iceland. We have a growing tent here and I def overwatered my plants. The result is bad 😅 and it has been bringing a lot of gnats! So I put a pot of water with dishwashing liquid and vinegar to repel it, sprinkle some baking soda and cinnamon onto the soil to kill the eggs and larvae, and I also stop watering for days but the soil is still moist, even wet. The tent is full with both live and dead gnats and I’m so worried that my plants will die. 😢 Do you think the bucket of gnats repellent was the culprit of the wet soil? Do you have better solution to clear the gnats ?
You are very correct I have several hydroponic systems I use it for plant starts mainly lavender cutting I noticed trying to root them was hit or miss until I started using air pumps in my systems
Take into consideration there is no perfect weather in nature some days it's cool some days it's hot some days it's raining some days it's overcast. The idea of buying a grow tent is interesting and obviously for people that have got more money. The idea of the reflective material is to bounce light from all angles just like it is I've used those aluminum foil blankets at Walmart in the sporting goods section for $4 and I just cover the walls with it. It doesn't matter that the temperature is going to vary from 60° to 80
Instead of shoving seedlings into holes using at stick cut the rock wool cube to the middle and lay the seedling into the cut, is much gentler and more precise.
Yes I did watch the video including the comment at 35:37 however it’s just not true. The solution includes those aspects and will be immediately absorbed. There is no need for several hours.
I have been growing carrots in Kratky. I cut the net pots so they would expand as the carrots grow, and after 7 months the carrots are only 2" long and 1.5" wide. I didn't expect them to take so long to grow. Starting over, I am using cloning collars to suspend them over the water.
That dead plant looks like it dried out. The bubbler serves more to splash water up to the bottom of the net cups than it does to provide oxygen. Raising the water level slightly may help until the roots make their way into the DWC bath.
Nice work and for those starting it’s a wealth of good info even years later. Just curious why you’ve not made more? Also given the time line have you updated anything? Including hardware or change of nutrients? Thanks
damn son ! thats amazing ... your video is so good bro please continue .. its so amazing its the first video i see there that is so detail so well made and well explain fck i love you bro thk you so much !!!
Do you eat the unspotted seeds too or do you separate them? If so, how do you separate them efficiently? I've been told you need 4-5 days for broccoli sprouts to be at their optimal nutrition. You said 2 days...why? What are your thoughts on it? Great vid!
Hello! I am new to hydroponics and I'm a new subscriber to your channel. Is there a Part 2 to this video? I would love to see more of the growing process for the lettuce all the way to harvest time! 💯💯❤❤
The lighting alone puts this garden as non profitable. Once you buy chemicals and racks, forget about it. I mean, that is a tiny garden. I see $500.00 worth of stuff to grow 6 heads of lettuce. I would guess a head of lettuce grown here would cost about $150.00 vs. $1.50 at the store. Am I missing something? I count 6 heads of lettuce every 45 days, how long will it take to recoup? I guess Cheap is relative.
