Why do people teach the u s. Flag is the American flag and that is not true. First America is a continent and has no flag just like Africa Asia has not flag. Nations on these continents have flags the star and spangle banner is the united States flag not America. America and the united states are two totally different things.
@@matthew-irl truth needs to be told and saying the u.s. fish is the American flag is a out right lie to it's highest degree. The u.s banner is a banner of commerce it's a business flag as the united States is a business, not a country.
That wasn't a correct square not. Both ends should exit the loop together on the same side of the loop. Left over Right, Then Right over Left is the ditty.
The polyester is going to be the most opaque flag - you can't really see through it. The nylon is a bit more lightweight and very slightly translucent so the sun shines through it.
All these videos are the same. This is NOT my problem. My problem is the old rope is long gone and I need a tutorial on how to start a new rope around the pulley. 🤷🏼♀️
Yes, you can fly other country's flags with the U.S. on an in-ground flagpole as long as it as the same size or smaller than the U.S. and the U.S. flag is flying above it.
Nice video mr flag Usa. Very usefull info you gave us to replace the hooks on you flagline and the way you replace the flag rope without taking the whole flag pole down to the ground. I have to change some flag ropes on several poles i have here. Thanks for you explanation. Whats the price now for the rope you use per meter or have you buy the whole rope wheel . And where homedepot maybe or elsewhere. Thanks i am Marty watching
While a Square Knot is commonly used, it isn't an appropriate knot to tie the two ends together. Difficult to understand where this terrible Square Knot habit started. Use a Water Knot or Double Fisherman's Bend instead - Lots of instructional videos on YT. After tightening securely, cut close, melt ends with a lighter & immediately press-down-on/mushroom the ends using the lighter body. No need to use electrical tape.
You would have to hire someone with a bucket truck to replace the rope for your. And in the future it's best to continuously check the rope to replace before it breaks.
I have a nylon flag for indoors use. What do you suggest for removing wrinkles? I tried hand washing, it slightly helped but do you suggest using iron in the lower setting? I don' t want to ruin my flag.
What a great video! So nice to see the people I've been working with for 10 years. Always great personal service and products. Best wishes for continued success!
As the groundskeeper at FENTON High School we had purchased many many flags. You always provided excellent service. Now I’m retired for 9 years , and still buy my flags from you. Outstanding RU-vid video. Respectfully Wally Glomp
