I was a skeptic about this soap. I was thinking this isn’t going to be a pretty as the micas would be. Boy was I wrong. I loved it even more. The micas are nice but this was an incredible. I loved the muted tones of the colors. Please do more clay soaps. Not many people are doing it.
Thank you so much! I too love the gentle tones of clays! I had been wanting to do this for so long and finally got my hands on some blue clays thank to friends who sent some to me! 🎉
Sooooo beautiful Ariane!! I've been following you for years and never really comment, but am always a fan of your creations! And this soap is one of your VERY best ever IMO! Just beautiful and I love that It's all natural colorants! Bravo! 😍❣️
Hi! This specific wax doesn’t “exist” anymore. EcoSoya were bought by a UK company that have reengineered it, but after testing with it, I find that it doesn’t perform the same as it used to. Each manufacturer should provide wax working temps. ☺️
Do you think you get the benefits of the plantain coming through the soap for your skin? I’m just wondering if maybe using a higher superfat would help keep some benefits. Thoughts?
Good question! Soap is soap. It will wash you and make your skin clean and soft. Plantain here is mostly used as colour additive and to lightly exfoliate the skin. ☺️
I have bought two corrugated raised beds from a vendor here in Netherlands, Europe. They were the cheapest offer. Upon receiving them I found the metal-sheets to be shrink-wrapped with an ultra-thin plastic film on the lacquered side for protection. Getting the film off is such a pain! You can´t just pull it off as it sticks too badly and rips. Tried different solvents and heat gun - no success. The best, even though a very, very time consuming method is to use the thumb to rub it patiently off. Which takes days for the many metal-sheets. It´s just frustrating. I even thought of setting them up with the film still on but I´m afraid that the beds will look unsightly over time when exposed to sunlight. Would I have known this beforehand I would have invested more money in a higher quality product such as yours. Another flaw is that the screws are too small for the holes as they just slip through - had to get new, bigger ones from the hardware store. Even after two years I haven´t set them up...
The protection film from Vego Garden is super easy to remove and by now, I am done assembling and filling 4 garden beds. My papa and a few friends came to help be, but it was very easy process.
The Vego products are very intriguing to me,as I'm down by the Gulf of Mexico, and I've wondered what type of bed could withstand our harsh, scorching temps year round. Thanks for sharing and putting this company on my radar. Good luck with your gardening! ✌️💙
