I'll say it right now: Chuck should've never made the villain. That's not to say he's the paragon of goodness, hell, no one in the show is; even Sam and Dean caused multiple people to die. But here's the thing: those consequences were the results of the characters' personal struggles. Chuck was my favorite of them all. No matter how he tried, something always goes haywire in the world. To a point that the only solution would be turning humanity into programed robots. He was crushed that he caged his son and sister, that humanity keeps insisting on harming itself. For a being that's supposed to be all powerful, that was frustratingly soul crushing. The only conclusion he could arrive to was that he was the problem factor that needed to be taken out, and so he did. However, unlike Chuck, Sam, Dean, and various other hunters kept going, never giving up on protecting people, never letting go of what is right. Yes, there were few stumbles and falls, but they got back up. And Chuck needed to be shown that, to see how much of an idiot he was. And the fact that Metatron, a douch essentially, was the one to do that was the ultimate wake up call Chuck needed. That was compelling and effective. So, for the show to just go, "nope, he's just a spoiled, mustache twirling villain" was a giant middle finger to his character.
God, I’ve been trying to articulate how I feel about chuck but this just about perfectly sums up how I feel about him!!! He had a real and authentic storyline that hit hard and gave me all those feels and then they turned him into a James Bond villain and complete with monologuing and it just cheapened his character towards the end
What most don't understand is that Dean is pulled by the darkness not in a romantic way. Anyone who rises to the light and into spiritual ascension goes through the depths of darkness and learn to love it and appreciate it and obviously not in a romantic way. Dean's path to enlightenment was to go through the Darkness who gave him a chance to heal the anger he felt for his mom, literally The Darkness gift in the show, and later find the light and ascend. (Spoiler alert).
I strongly feel that when sam didnt look for Dean when Dean went to purgatory is because Sam just "stopped". He just mentally froze and didnt know what to do and yes he probably hit the dog trying to end it all
Why do humanity keep asking why the god doesn't interfere? Aren't humanity above that level of ignorance? Does the god need to remind you always that he created this life to test us not to solve our test for us ? Why does the god need to remind you all the time that this life isn't for resting or happiness all the time ?
Just as reminder to anyone who dares kidnapped Sam Winchester, you cam best & better believe, If his older brother Dean Winchester finds out & he will find out, if you think you can hide from Dean Winchester, you best & better get this thru your head, You can run but you will never be able to hide from the full wrath of Dean Winchester
I love how even tho Crowley isn't the most powerful demon, he still is very powerful and has his own unique set of skills. Disintegrating demons with a snap, talking to animals, and giving humans the ability to read. He's a badass.
I kind of liked when they revealed he was God, at least the way he explained why he stepped away, I feel like the real God is that way, people keep blaming Him for everything forgetting that we have free will and we need to learn from our own mistakes not wait for God to fix them and be mad when that doesnt happen when we are the responsible ones, like when Dean said people built churches and fight wars in his name (people do that not God), all God asked was to have faith in him and love eachother and humans twisted that to cause violence and have money
I don't get Sam sometimes. First he has dean's back and then he either doesn't gave a damn. Like when dean asked Sam if he would save his life if he was dying and Sam said no. Dean made a promise to his brother to protect him. I can understand why Sam was angry with dean for allowing Sam to be taken over by an angel when he was dying but he didn't have to be a bitch about it. Sam is very vindictive. He knows dean's triggers and he used them against dean. I really don't care to much about the Sam character
