every time a SWAC band is in the west coast they always make SWAC look awesome and their crowds ALWAYS love us!!! Hence JSU when they were in Nevada ... GSU in Cali ... they love our form of marching and Im glad the SWAC can give that to them to enjoy great job Grambling!! coming from a JSU Tiger !!
3 years late in this response, but a couple of things in play in here. 1) The ball in the circle doesn't "kill play". It only makes the runners make a decision whether to return to the base they occupied or continue to the next base. You can't see the runner's actions until you see her heading home, but I'm guessing she headed toward third, saw no one was paying attention and just kept going. She is legal by doing so. She has not violated the look back rule. 2) The look back rule doesn't even apply until the batter that was walked reaches first base. You can see at the end of the video the batter is still trotting to first as the play at the plate has ended.
Very nice! I think most people are unaware of what the bench looks like. My daughter sent me photos of it and I was surprised at how imposing and long it is. Go Bears!

Man they have tons of competition in the swac southern,Jackson state,mvsu,pvamu,Alcorn,txsu,Alabama a&m,Alabama state etc.smh it’s sweet till you back in your conference lol
I am very proud Grambling State University alumni and I am happy for all HBCU marching bands that get exposure because it helps our schools. . All HBCU Marching Bands existence matters to me because they represent my community.

I love the Cal Band, I love college football, I think the Grambling Band is great, and we had a great day in Berkeley last Saturday. I don't know much about Jackson State or Southern University, but from what I've heard, their bands are great, too. Be happy, Walter. Go Bears!

Cal was smart the way they handled this, if you can't beat them join them, y'all are not about to come and battle us so we are going to play along side of you lol...... just saying!
+adams782003 Cal always does a post-game show in this manner when there is a visiting band whether it's San Jose State, Ohio State, or Grambling (unless it's somebody like the USC band, which is very disrespectful of other schools and bands and refuses to participate). In my experience, band people don't seem to regard themselves as "battling" each other. It's more a matter of mutual respect and the joy of playing music. Certainly the Grambling Band is fantastic, and we were thrilled they were able to come to Berkeley. And I am glad to have been able to post this video of the post-game show for everyone to enjoy.
+lesmitch529 No harm intended, but in the South and the SWAC we battle, its nothing but friendly competition, a sign of respect to fellow programs, Im a Southern University Alum, but I follow Grambling as if I graduated from there because I look forward to see what they bring every year to the Bayou Classic, so again I meant no harm by the post, but it's a cultural thing!
+adams782003 GSU does a joint show yearly with other traditional STYLES GSU did a joint show with Houston last year and 06. btw GSU bring alot to Bayou Classic in 2015 they were on point at that BOTB
Not much of a Grambling fan at all, but I love to see HBCU's put on a show for these D-1 schools. Always glad to see a positive light on a black program. The Juke still going to wax that ass for the Classic tho.lol
so why didn't SU wax GSU at the classic??? Crazy how folks at the BOTB was pissed at SU songs they claim GSU play to many slow songs and SU played damn near every slow song and gsu took advantage of it I never seen SU get booed like that
