Hi! I’m Gillian Scott. I’m a qualified English teacher and I’ve been teaching English as a foreign language since 2013. In the past, I lived in Italy for seven years, working as a Cambridge Speaking Examiner and Senior Teacher, teaching general English and preparing students for Cambridge exams, IELTS and TOEFL. Back in the UK, I trained as an IELTS Writing Examiner and taught people from many different nationalities while working as a Director of Studies. Additionally, I’ve trained other English teachers and assessed teachers on the Level 5 TEFL Course. I’ve also contributed to published coursebooks - I’m mentioned in the acknowledgements of Pearson’s "PET Gold" (2019). Currently, I teach English online to students across the globe and I also provide feedback on practice IELTS Writing tests.
