Hi, I'm Rich. I have been a computer technician for 20+ years and have owned my own business for the last 12 years. I see all types of computer problems on a daily basis and I want to share some of the solutions to these problems with others. This channel will be dedicated to solving computer related problems as well as doing some fun computer how-to's. Also Games, Lots of games. Retro games, modern games all types of games. Gaming hardware and systems.
I post a new video every week.

I'm on 11 and have no vehicle to go back anymore. They removed features, bloated it up with spyware and adware. Recall and AI is scary. I'm switching to Unix based operating systems in a two step process as soon as I'm able. Music Production is going to a 2020 iMac with a 10th gen i9, 128GB Ram and 1TB system drive, Everything else will be migrating to Arch + KDE. I've dabbled with Linux a bit (Manjaro and Mint); It just works and is super nonintrusive to my workflow and with KDE it acts like windows without the annoying parts. I will be sacrificing gaming a bit by making the switch, but I have a backlog of console games to play so it isn't a great loss and plus most may just work with Proton and other compatibility layers. Mac I'm less familiar with, but got exposed to it in College and am currently running an iPhone 13 Pro Max after the fiasco with my old OnePlus unlifing itself and the replacements were crazy expensive, made by Chinese slave labor and by that time the build and OS quality had gone down really badly. The iPhone has been rock solid and I have only had to restart it only 3 times since I got it and it was all because of the navigation app going crazy or a system update was available. The only difficulty I've had with the iPhone is image file transfer to PC, though I mostly transfer music files from iTunes when I do sync it up.
Thank you for this video. You saved my many years of windows !! 🏆I got errors like "windows cannot find the file , make sure you typed the name correctly" on all the programs I wanted to run. Even regedit cannot be run. I did sfc scannow & dism scanhealth but I could not do restorehealth. It said error:87 The restorehealth option is not recognized in this context. All in safemode ! But that already worked & the problem is gone after restarting . Thanks again. You deserve more than a million subscribers.
My WIN10 crashed BUT the boot drive came back as RAW. And WIN made my former C:> D:> and D:> C:> per DISKPART. I removed the drive and connected it to an SSD-to-USB able and plugged it into a working PC and looked at the crashed drive in Disk Manager. Disk Manager sees the drive and it looks like it has four partitions, left to right, 100 MB Healthy EFI System Partition; 235GB RAW Healthy Basic DATA Partition; 515MB Healthy Recovery Partition; 1MB Unallocated. How can I repair or at minimum convert RAW to NTFS without losing files so I can recover some files/directories?
Please make a video reviewing that "Recall" privacy problem. Honestly I don't need that AI cra.p embedded into my system. Copilot was promising but it is not, it's just another mean to milk us peasants. I rather use openAI or other AI that would help me out.
hi, If my PC hardware is not able to support Windows 11 and I don't want to update it, what should I do to continue using it? the tpc is still good, i dont wanna stop it, but im not sure how i can stop the update and keep an old version of windovs without crack it
Checking "under the hood" Windows 11 seems to be a small incremental update - MS does not even see it as "Version 11" My Windows 10 PC: Version 10.0.19845.4412 My Windows 11 PC: Version 10.0.22631.3737 This is not in family with other Windows versions - They should have at least changed the second number so 10.0 to 10.1 (Windows Vista was 6.0, Windows 7 was 6.1, Windows 8 was 6.2, 6.3 then they jump to 10.0 for Windows 10 and 11...) Windows 11 should have been an optional "Plus" pack that people could add to windows 10. This aligns with the "every other version" edict: Windows NT4 - Solid and efficient OS Windows 2000 - Slow but OK. XP blew it away Windows XP - So good I had it running for over 10 years and no longer had to dual boot with Win 98 for gaming. Windows Vista - useless Windows 7 - So good I would keep it if MS supported Windows 8 - no comment Windows 10 - Currently Solid Windows 11 - wrapper for Windows 10 that dumbs it down.
Nice. Unreadable Tiny Letters for Tiny 11. I´m 70 Y. and my Eyes are of the same Age. But in your Tiny Brain this is out of reach for You. Thanks for nothing.
It's irrelevant. They'll cut support for 10, and people will flock to 11 because there's nowhere else to go that's still WIndows. It's happened with every popular version of Windows.
I have a Microsoft account and it still won’t turn off. Went through your entire process twice. About to throw this thing out the window because I can’t download my apps for my budiness
I've completely freaked out when on my work laptop running mysql database for development (mysql STILL DOES NOT WORK ON 11!) on boot got windows update screen with win 11 animatio and opened up what looked like a win 11 first setup but it was just a dumb demo! - when I closed it I got my win 10 back
wsl improvement in 11 are pretty cool and the tabs in file explorer are something they should have made at least 10 years ago... I don't like all the essential gui options getting removed in 11 though but fortunately "start all back" fixes alle the issues and you can move that taskbar to the top or left where it is supposed to be and het a full right click menu istead of having to do multiple clicks
At this point, I just want microsoft to give us the option to buy customisations in the store... Would be nice to sync designs between multiple Computers and to your phone via 'phone app'
I have that third option in the registry. The value for it is set to 2. The one you wanted us to change is set to zero. Do I need to set that value to 0 as well?
Damn.. those 1% and 0.1% 👌👌👌👌 now I'm convinced to use High-performance 😂😂 Most of the AVGs were just margin of errors, but those 1% and 0.1% are just real 💪
CyberCPU Tech--- I have an OptiPlex 3040 with an i3 CPU. There has been a lot of interest in older operating systems like Windows XP. How do you install one? I do not want to use VMWare or any of those programs to make it work (if possible). Your videos are always Top Notch!! TIA!!
What really annoys me is that Microsoft ignores the truth that people have bought the hardware of their PC. The PC doesn't belong to MS - that have simply provided the OS. That's why I've been exploring the dark side aka Linux. My PC is *my* property that is capable of running a wide variety of software that I choose to help me work and play. The OS is simply a facilitator to that end.
Microsoft doesn't care about creating unnecessary e-waste. They want people to buy new system because that takes them off the hook when it comes to providing necessary security updates to Windows 10. When October 2025 rolls around millions of people will lose security updates and it will all be Microsoft's fault. Existing PCs need to be able to continue running safely.
I have a problem guys and I’d like to see if there’s a solution. So basically, I had a problem after I updated my computer a while back and recently fixed it. The problem was that all my USB ports shut down and only one was working which was my mouse. So I had no internet (internet router connected to my computers USB port), and my keyboard. I fixed it by resetting my PC and signing into my computer and then it worked. But now I have the same problem again. How to fix?
