Cantu Comics is home to all things related to collecting comic art such as how to buy comic art to how to store your comic art and more! I also cover buying, collecting and showing off your comic books and pop culture related collectibles.
I hope to bring a unique spin of original content with my many upcoming how to videos and series. The content contained stems from my experience and I will do my due diligence to make sure everything is factual.
Depends on the condition. First Jubilee is definitely a key so its one to add to your collection... but keep in mind comic values have taken a hit over this last year so take it with a grain of salt.
Wow. I like the prototype stuff and have mentioned them in some of my videos. I remember that Rock story and i always thought it was a Sgt Rock story. Thanks.
Thank you Alan. Wow Spain! That's my motherland according to my DNA test haha. I honestly haven't used my Instagram in ages or made new videos in quite a while. Full time work and being a Dad has taken most of my free time away :(
And somehow YT failed me. Only now your vid showed up. Awesome haul man, congrats. Someday I´ll have a nice original cover art from Marvel. Anthony does have some sweet deals on his website as well
@@fabioturbay6346 Sorry for not making any new videos. Been super busy with work and child no 2 is coming any day now. My new art has piled up and its some nice stuff
Jonboy is the Man! Met him at SF Expo 2023 for the first time and he was very just a great person to connect with. I was able to get some cool remarques from him. Ninja Scroll is an amazing anime, congrats on the OA page.
I found mine at Anime Expo in Los Angeles many years ago, but ebay tends to have a handful available at any given time. Prices range greatly though lol.
Hi Omega, glad to be back. I featured the mylar bags on my "How to store comic art" video. I bought them from Bags Unlimited. This is the link to their Original comic art supplies: www.bagsunlimited.com/category/82/comic-art-poly-bags
My uncle got me into pretty much everything from a young age and he took me my first comic book shop visit. The book I picked out was a very stylized Superman comic called Godfall. It was by artist Micheal Turner, I was like 13 or 14 then but I had great eye for stellar artwork. The style of the comic was so appealing & detailed. Just a month back I found out Michael Turner had passed away years back from some type of Cancer, but he’s wonderful career, work & legacy will remembered. RIP to One the best to ever do it.
Something my dad taught me when i was a teenager when he was doing side jobs as a roofer before quitting his roofing profession from his previous company for many years, he taught me to always charge the materials used for the job and the work hours you put into the job also adding the state tax percentage of the work hours you put into to have an estimate of what you should earn in total. A lesson i will never forget which i also learned what my dad had taught me when i was on the field as a copier technician at my mid 20s at the time, where i had to give the estimate to the respective clients in their businesses of the work hours i put in servicing their copiers adding the state tax percentage to receive the earning in total in a check that i then receive by the client to take to my old-boss at the time. I think to me that is the easiest and simple way to determine how much you should earn in a days work. Nice review.
I worked on 4 games: Command & Conquer 3, Medal of Honor: Airborne, 007: The Quantum of Solace & The Saboteur. It was definitely a fun part of my career
A nice remembrance video, I envy you for your signed copies but happy for you. Michael Turner’s art was what drew me into comics when I was younger and he has remained a huge source of inspiration since. It’s always nice to watch a video tribute to him every now and then. Thanks for the video.
