Hi, I also made a similar video during Covid. The patterns are the same ( only exception is that all parts end with a do ko before the switch): Here is the first pattern ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fFqZ1sOQC5Q.htmlsi=xk6nGpkFz-tP0IGi
I did yesterday my first Taiko lesson and wanted to find something about taiko and found your channel.I know it’s hard to get peoples attention with Taiko but please do not give up.Especially those 2 videos with the exercises I found very helpful for me who I am a beginner.Greetings from Greece.
Thank you for your feedback. I plan to make some more video lesson content soon. I currently teach live online classes, so that has been keeping me busy.
@@ShoonShibata Of course! My mom just sent the video to me and my siblings and we all really enjoyed it. All good here, I live in San Diego now with my girlfriend and our dog. Nice to hear from you!
Thanks for the great lesson!! What software did you use to synthesize the taiko sounds?? I've been looking for this kind of sw a long time and haven't found a nice one that doesn't sound "too computadorized".
Sorry for the late reply and thank you for the comment! This is actually just the taiko sounds in garageband, but I tweaked it a little bit. I made this video during lock down, so I couldn't really record the audio in my bedroom.
Thank you so much, Sho'on! This is a great set of drills that matches some that we do at the Great Lakes Taiko Center (our students might recognize parts of the Accent Wall Chart and Dots Chart :)
