People only hate the gameplay everything else is fine imo

Xigbar is the worst character to play as in the game

This game is a Nintendo DS gem. They'd need a lot of work to remake it. If only they did it in the KH2 FM engine.

this is actually a joke but when i finally beat this guy, it was in mission mode, little me thought "oh, i get 3 lives" so i tried it there i never want to hear leviathans air combo sfx again

Hahaha I'd definitely rather try dustflier at level 1 on mission mode than Ruler of the Sky. That fight would take forever to kill even with Extreme Ring.

Other than the Stalwart Blade, these mini bosses (and the super boss) are basically just reskinned versions of KH1 and KH2 enemies (and bosses), along with us getting the "Alice in Wonderland shrinking" treatment. Technically, I KNOW that (story - wise) this came first (before KH2), but since KH:CoM and KH2 were MADE first, KH: 358/2 Days looks like it's mostly copying off of them both (in this aspect).

It's possible to do it with Champion Gear or Phantom Gear. One of them have critical boost, it's the only way to damage him. On story mode you'll have an easier time. Even Thundaga will take lots of his health. Gonna watch your vids. Have you tried Melon Mix? It will improve greatly the 358/2 Days experience. github.com/vitor251093/KHMelonMix

@@aloha6221 Good advice, thanks! And yeah, I’ve tried Melon Mix out and am really impressed with the work! It still has some kinks to work out but it’s really cool, though I think I prefer the vanilla experience for now. (Might just be the nostalgia talking, admittedly.)

Square Enix lost a real opportunity by not remaking this game. Multiplayer pontetial, various characters to control, etc. I love mission mode, it feels so good to control Säix, Larxene, Marluxia and the other members.

@@aloha6221for them to remake it they didn’t even have to change too much, just give it KH2 graphics and a couple more difficult bosses and you’re good

Mission mode chip damage is awful sometimes. I tried this same mission with other characters like Larxene, Marluxia, Zexion and Mickey and none of them could do damage to Dustflier. DW Roxas air finisher is not even that good but work wonders against this boss. Try using Zero Gear + critical units against this boss on story mode and you will be fine. You can do good damage with this setup even on level 1.

I've never played multiplayer on mission mode. How can I do that?

Yeah, even though enemies in mission mode receive 4x less damage compared to story mode some limit breaks are very OP.

​@@aloha6221Some characters are just built different. Maybe the sheer intricacy of the character movesets in this game is why it didn't get remade 😂

Give it a try. It may look childish becuase of all the Disney characters. But its got a solid combat system. And that's why we play games.

For endgame missions? Just Zero Gear and Pandora Gear actually do some damage. Phantom Gear++ also can be used.

Atacantes geralmente não tem uma defesa muito boa. Esses bosses do modo nightmare causam MUITO dano. Tentei fazer esse bosses com a DK Helga e mesmo com o escudo da C.C. ela não tankava maioria dos ataques. A D Luci tem o true damage a disposição dela com a S3. Eu possuo 6 relíquias que deixam a S3 dela no level 12. Assim, eu tenho 320k de dano garantido.

Me too, Days would be a lot more better if it had Re: Coded combat. A full remake would be really nice though.

Yes, I used emulator. Unless you have the game in a DS or 3DS, there's no other way to play it.

Yeah, I would love a Days remake. Multiplayer and a KH2 gameplay style would be lit. Aside Re: Coded, I dislike the command menu style. Coded is the only game that made it right.
