I have never crouchet anything before, this video made it all a little less scary :) makes perfect sense even though I do not know any of the crochet steps. I will make some easier practice pieces and then come back to this <3
thank you so much for this tutorial!! for the ribbing, when you say to repeat it all the way down, are you sc blo all the way down? or are you doing 1 row of sc in both loops, and then 2 rows of sc in blo?
M favourite jumpers and so eazzy to make …I love your Chanel.i joined m6 sleeves and did increase but I prefer the way you did ❤❤❤❤❤❤your sleeves straight panels and cuffs
My ribbing is looking wider than the jumper which is concerning….any idea why? It’s like there’s no room for it? I’m doing a chain of 3 plus 1 for turning chain. SC BLO until bottom stitch which is going into the stitch. Do I do that on the way back up too? Or is is it BLO all the way then? I’m wondering if skipping a stitch each time I SS into the bottom of the jumper might help pull the ribbing in a bit?
I have a question, how can you know how much the piece "grows" after blocking? If I'm making a sweater should I crochet it down sized? Thanks if you reply, this is my biggest question in blocking
I have a question, I'm doing the neckline and I have to pull the hook out to start on the other side, but how do I close the stitch so it doesn't undo itself if I pull the yarn? (I don't know if what I'm saying makes sense, english is not my first language)
thats prob because your chain is too tight in comparison to your stitches (single crochet, double crochet, etc.). You could try redoing the front piece completely and chaining looser than normal, allowing more stretch for your chain.
I love ur videos and tutorials!! ❤❤ i made a jumper with your tutorial and it was amazing!! I made it white, light/greyish blue and beige. Ribbing was black
Hey, so first of all, thank you so much for this video, it's really easy to understand, the only thing I didn't get, when attaching the sleeves to the body, do the armhole and the sleeve have to have the same amount of stitches? Cause basically, when you have more stitches on the sleeve than on the armhole, aren't there leftover stitches?
honestly it's so pretty and EASY and I love them. I just messed up that star when I was making my first pairs, but I'll do probably more than just one of them, cuz THEY ARE SO PRETTY!!!!! (also this beeing the 100th comment makes me so happy:))
Thank you so so much! I’ve been searching for a comfortable knitting/crochet channel and yours is just perfect! Большое спасибо! Sending love from Russia❤
This is the first time I've attempted making a sweater (I've always thought it was too complicated for me), but your instructions broke it down into manageable sections and gave me the courage to try it. And I did it! I'm so happy and proud of how it turned out. Thank you for making this video and opening up a whole new world of crocheting to me.
algum brasileiro por favor me ajude na parte da gola, não entendi muito bem 🙁 im from Brazil and im in love with this tutorial!! ♡ not my native language, i have some difficulties but im going to look for someone to help me with this.
i spent at least 2 hours on the neckline ribbing only for it to be too small to fit around my head 😭😭 i had to undo it all, and it looked so cute - now ive just done 2 rows of double crochets around the neckline, but it doesn’t look as good as the ribbing :[. i already redid the neckline once because it wasn’t equal, so i really cba to redo it again to make it lower for the ribbing. oh well, now ive learnt for next time
I think you should just cut the yarn and tie it and then start to crochet at the otherside. I mean just copy the side you crochet at the side you don't crochet.
i've been wanting to try making a sweater out for a while but all the tutorials seem so intimidating, but this one definitely wasn't! you seem so sweet and patient with it and explain stuff so clearly, i'm now more encouraged to make one than before :) such a nice video!!!
what did you find difficult about it? i could try helping with some stuff if you’d like, also are you like a complete beginner and only just started or do you know the basic stuff for crocheting?
Hii, i really want to make this! How many skeins did you use for this as im going to order online and want to make sure i get the right amount. Obviously it will take a different amount based off the size but my junper looks to be a similar size to yours xxx
