Beautiful video. It is lovely to revisit this, particularly as some of our friends are no longer with us. Good to see Paul Goelz playing, as he's usually taking the videos and not often seen.
I love this happy, upbeat tune, Judy. This will be my first Funfest, and this tune embodies my excitement as I am getting ready to attend. I am looking forward to playing and listening to music with friends after years of folk music silence.❤😊
Great tune Judi. Thanks for posting dots and audible. Story line is super too. Hughie Morningstar rocker in background adds a nostalgic air too. Hugs. G.
I think there’s a way to click somewhere on the verbiage around the specific video or maybe when the ad is playing & challenge why you’re being shown THIS ad. But I think the cure might be that you have to give google more permission to your information than you might wish for. Sorry about that. I don’t monetize my videos as I figure any video I share is meant just for that purpose, to share, so I apparently have no say as to what ads are thrown up before it. I’m not even sure if there’s a ‘place’ to complain about it…
Thanks Steve. That was my first thought. It’s so simple, I don’t know if anyone will want to play it. But as I worked it out, with the piano chords in the background, I felt sooo soothed by it. I think some others may be seeing that aspect as well.
what a lovely tribute for Bob! you do such a nice job with your songs. adding the back up just makes it complete. there is still nothing like the sound of a webster dulcimer in songs like this. and it is so hard to accept these new chapters in life as we age and fade. life is fragile! there is more chance to lose a friend or physically become uncapable of doing normal daily life things. Music soothes that. It helps us escape and also remember. kudos for a great job and a song to remember Bob!
Thank you for the comments. Glad you like it. I’ve discovered that this tune kind of lies flat without the backup, probably because I never really ‘learned it’🫤.
