This looks like the base-camp for Susana Saavedra who was doing the work in A Samoa February - July 2016 ~~~ I had the opportunity to work with Susana Saavedra while in American Samoa.Built a few traps right there ~~~ hope the effort to control the mynas and the red vented bulbul still ongoing --- cheers from this side of the planet
Yes these traps were created to help trap and control the myna bird population within American Samoa. The myna bird population on the island has grown so much that they are beginning to threat the survival of other local birds and plans as well.
