We combine hands-on science with plants: Agroecology, Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Biosciences, Professional Golf Management, Turfgrass Science and Sustainable Agriculture.
HCS is based on two campuses in Ohio: one in Columbus and the other in Wooster. HCS is a department in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Science.
Faculty and staff in HCS teach over eighty undergraduate and graduate courses and they have a diverse approach to research. Another focus is Extension and Outreach with many HCS programs that work with local communities from all across the state.
