Hi, I’m Lolita Milena. I am an actress, author and dancer. Born in Siberia, I immigrated to the USA in my toddler years. After surviving child abuse in the foster care system, I was placed with my current family, where I gained a plethora of opportunities in the arts and academic education. In 2017 I published my first novel “2459” and won the NANOWRIMO award for completing a 50,000 word novel in the span of 30 days. 2020 I was granted the amazing opportunity to star in the Lionsgate “1UP” as the supporting lead, Jenna. I do hope you enjoy my content to its fullest extent, welcome!
As a quadriplegic in wheelchair user of more years than I care to admit , I get amused as much as I do annoyed at “professionals” that think they know more about my needs than I do.
sorry to hear about that dr being such a d*^%. Im really glad to see that you got the nitrum. Its an awesome chair. I got to demo one along wit a ki mobility rogue. I ended up going back to tilite and getting an aero t, along with a smart drive. Im hoping for it to arrive monday july 29th. keep on rollin!
Hi Lolita, every video of yours teaches me something new. Before today I wasn't familiar with the Rollettes, but I just now looked them up. Wow! It all looks so empowering, a wonderful place for community & support as well as creativity. I'm glad you shared this. Right back at ya with the 🤘14:15!
Congratulations on the progress walking with your hkafo’s. I have hkafo’s very similar to yours also that I have to wear all day up until I get put into bed. Little jealous that you are able to use forearm crutches I will probably never be able to go back to crutches been using walker with forearm attachments for years now.
Have you find it difficult finding shoes that fit comfortably with your braces? That’s always been my biggest struggle. I finally had my orthopedic who made my braces order me specialty medical shoes made specifically for braces. There by far most comfortable shoes I’ve worn with my braces
@@LolitaMilena I have two pairs of shoes from same company one my orthopedic had custom made to fit my braces and other shoes are specifically made for braces. I like the style of your shoes much better than mine. Your shoes don’t have a medical look like mine do.
Love the house, do you have ramps on both the front and back doors? Your bathroom is basically a shower with a toilet and sink in it. 🙂 Do you only have the bar over the toilet, or is there also one on the wall to the right of the sink? Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for sharing your home with us. I'm reminded of a movie I saw a long time ago called Mac and Me. If you haven't seen it, it's basically just like E.T. except the boy is in a wheelchair. Early in the film, his mother introduces him to their new house, happily pointing out all the ways it's handicapped-friendly. It's good that you can live in such a house, and that the home is beautiful too! Also, *keep writing*!
Great home. Just curious, is that only your restroom or do guests and your roommates use it to. Also, can't wait for you next books. If you finish by July and want to send me a sign copy as a present I wouldn't say no 😁. But if not can't wait to buy my own copy and continue the advertising or one of your side books as well. My collection of the great Lolita books shall be completed 😎
I just stumbled upon your videos and channel for the first time today, already love it and love being able to hear about these places from a different perspective, it's super informative and fun!! I'm a recent architecture grad and making accessibility not only an option, but just as integrated and hassle free as any other circulation is uber important!! Looking forward to watching more!
Thanks for another travel story, but from a handicapped person's point of view--I have to confess, it was something I'd never really thought of. I just got back from Florida myself, Key West and St. Petersburg. Very hot, but lots of fun! Key West is the rooster capital of the world, they roam free everywhere and you hear them crowing all the time. I've never been to either Disney, although I have visited Universal Studios in California.
Maybe you should reach out to Disney and see if they would bring you in to actually do some sort of PR or something for them. Given the opportunity, would you move to Florida?
What kind of person, would imitate a disabled person, so they can get first on a ride/movie/etc ??? Any way. Great video travelogue about the adventure parks. When will you try Scotland?🦄 The greatest adventure you can have in the rain?☔
Sadly, it had gotten really bad at one point, and there were actually disabled tour guides that you could hire so that you could take advantage of the pass. Families would rent wheelchairs. These people did so much damage to the pass system.
Okay! I was in prison for a long time and the TVs have subtitles there because it's really hard to hear over the other noise, so when you did this I completely 100,000 % related on a very scary level 🤣😵💫🤣
I need subtitles,I'm in no way hard of hearing but have sensory issues, to the point I have subtitles on while watching anything Edit:I have sensory processing disorder,I forgot what it was called😅
I can’t watch tv without subtitles. Half the time im not even paying attention and just listening to it with looking at the actual screen anyway. But the subtitles need to be on.
