Thanks for doing this. I did notice a difference...the trio gives you a natural glow. I have been thinking about this for a while because I do like to go natural some days and this would give me a bit of a glow if I have to run out to the store, etc. I am going to order it now!
Can I use this recipe for frosting a cake. My mother would make me my birthday-cake every year and the frosting was kind of hard/crunchy. I wish I could make it. Maybe you can give me some direction. Thank you so much.❤🎉❤
I would like to know if I make thr recipe just like you, can i use it as a frosting as well. My mother used to make a frosting on my Birthday cake and the frosting was a very little crunch. Any advise from you will be mosr sincerely appreciated. Thank you so much. Louis
Can this recipe be used to frost a cake? My mother used to put something as thick and chunky as divinity, but without nuts, on my birthday cake. Could this fecipe be used as a icing/frosting on a cake? Tbank you for your response! ❤🎉❤
i think you're supposed to keep stirring until it turns into that unique texture. The water evaporates and the sugar will crystalize and then you keep stirring until it forms that texture. Looks so delicious though.
1:04 Humidity is no longer a factor in making divinity due to homes now having A/C. Air conditioners keep humidity relatively stable. I've made divinity with it pouring rain outside with no problems whatsoever. Pro-tip: instead of wiping down the rim of the pot with water (which adds unwanted moisture to the syrup, simply place a lid on the pot for 1 minute. When you remove the lid, you will see that the sugar crystals have been washed/dissolved and the sides will be perfectly clean.
I am trying to make some candy like yours turned out that you said wasn't what you was looking for. so this can help a lot of others cause it is tricky to get that right consistency from what I see
This is really cool, i bet you could push the bottom of a ice tray or some other cool design and just pour it in. Nice this I didn't think about, I am making candy tomorrow (lemon drops) first time and this is perfect idea for a mold! Thanks!!!! :)
I love these but you can't get them in UK, I did get some back in 2000 at Glastonbury Festival as some French people had come over with a little street cart selling them
I loved your review! I’ve been thinking about boom sticks for a while now but most of the reviews are so phony. After seeing your review I am going to try boom 😊
you need to use the hook that came with the mixer.. not the one for making cookies for mixing flour and sugar butter mix, or not at all.. use your hands.
I bought it. The moisturizer feels like chapstick. Waxiness is not moisture. I saw a tutorial of a woman putting the dark red on her nose like you would a highlighter 😳 Who would want a red nose? So I tried it and it's ok. I was concerned about the small size against the price but if you use it correctly it'll last a while. In tutorials I see women caking it on and it doesn't look good. It's a minimalist makeup I think. You don't even need to use a lot.
Thank you for doing such a great genuine test run that is brief and natural and believable . I have been very curious . I can see you are someone I can trust. Thank you and you looked gorgeous inthe nature outside lighting as eveyone here said ♥️
I think you look better with it than without it but I think you could use a little more color (at least on the lips). It looks like most of it disappeared into your skin. I've seen it on a lot of people and feel the same way--more color. However, I'm not into the nude makeup look.
When I add powdered citric acid it turns brown or even black depending on the temperature. The acid catalyses the decomposition and it also starts to smell really bad and taste horrible.
Never saw this version. So many ingredients and steps. Usually it’s just sugar, egg white, vanilla and a “sour” = a few drops vinegar, lemon juice or cream of tartare. Low oven
