I haven't been since like 2007 but is it just me or did they update the exterior of it. I remember it being in sort of like a little cul-de-sac next to the thing that demonstrated how to do lysoap and also a show amphitheater where we saw someone who was like a bird of pre-handler but anyway it was kind of a quiet part of the park and of course this ride will always be so underrated and it's good to scare your mom who hates roller coasters. It's such a goddamn classic and even myself who is scared of no roller coaster ever, It's really good animatronics and scenery rivaling Disney and I remember I went on like three times in a row and the rest of the people with me were like come on let's go!!! It will always be one of my favorites. It's quite a unique theme for a ride. ❤
Mama Odie said it herself, time to think big! This was an opportunity to have a really great, fully immersive experience and disney missed the boat. Disappointing
My daughter and I rode this 6 times in a row at closing time!! A fun ride!! In the evening it’s even darker inside which makes it more suspenseful. We noticed different scenes in the themery each ride. So fun to ride by ourselves. Employees added to the rise.. they were great!
Part of the fun was the scary-ness leading up to the big drop and the thorn needles at the bottom of it. And then finally at the end the resolution and sing-along with all the animatronics. This has none of that. 😓
They should have gone with the original story where we follow Tiana and the prince as they become frogs go thru the villain chasing us and like almost captures us but we make it thru and there’s a celebration at Tiana’s restaurant that’s what I was expecting, this ride is boring
Yeah but the good part about it is it's mostly pretty chill except for the couple of drops so it's not that big of a problem I don't think. My home park is magic mountain and we have X2 and it's only about 25 years old but it's super jerky it'll kill your calves and your neck.
Where’s the rest of the story line? I love rides when they just follow the movie but this didn’t even make it that far. There’s only like 3 characters. I’m very disappointed this is what disney replaced one of their best selling rides with.
This being a replacement for Splash instead of a new build is a whole can of worms in itself but just looking at what we have, I want to know: is this what people always dreamed the next step in Tiana’s story would be? Searching for critter bands in a bayou? I highly doubt it.
DEAR DISNEY, YOU SUCK, IT WAS THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH BECAUSE IT TOOK US TO OUR CHILDHOODS WHICH WERE WHEN ANIMATION AND DREAMS WERE STILL GREAT, IF YOU WANT TO BE WOKE, WAKE UP TO THE FACT YOU SHOULD HAVE HONERED YOUR TRUE FOLLOWERS WHO CAME THERE ALL THE TIME, NOW WE ARE OVER IT UNTIL YOU PULL YOUR CRAP TOGETHER AND GROW UP.
All right, I will not be riding. I do not condone the Princess and the frog is one of Disney’s darkest movies and people will think it’s just an innocent movie for kids. Do not let your kids watch that movie.
Although this is technically a "sequel" to the events of the movie...and boy, is this ride pretty boring as a result specifically because it actually _doesn't_ have those darker elements.
I don't want to be mean but it seems kinda boring, it feels like there's no story besides you get shrunken down. Also where is her husband? I didn't see him at all unless she got a divorce and merry the gator. Something else that is bugging me, where's the huge splash?
The ride looks great….. but. After seeing the animatronics at the Rapunzel ride, I was expecting a bit more from these ones? Like expecting them to have the same level of realism? Maybe the video isn’t doing them justice, but some of the animatronics seem stiff, like they didn’t get as much love as some others. And I also wish they put effort into the outside parts. Like. The inside areas are great, but the outside seems?? Boring… I know Disney was more than capable of adding more to the outside areas. :(
Who thinks of "shoo Fly" with the back ground music ... "the biyu"? Too dark Not enough interests to keep one focused. Half way through video I am humming shoo fly don't bother me and wanting to litterally swat something... it was so annoying.
I still wish they changed splash mountain to Pocahontas. I mean in the movie there was a 'log ride scene.' I wish there was more on Pocahontas at Disney and this would have been a great add.
Wait. I was watching the splash mountain few minutes ago, is it me or tiana's adventure is identical to splash mountain? Just redecorated. Boats are the same, the structure and so on
