Hi there, you have found JMPsavescars welcome! My mission is to find, and save as many discarded relics from the past as possible. I created this channel as a way to share my interesting skills and job with as many people as i can. Creating and repairing impractical yet notable toys one at a time. If i cant get what i need i make it. Racecars, vintage icons, snowmobiles, dirtbikes, boats, airplanes, muscle cars and more. if you are interested in any of these subjects or you have a suggestion drop a comment and ill be sure to try to bring you something on the subject! at the end of the day this is my job and i might as well share it with the world wide audience and give these machines the peoples attention, after they have lived their first life its my job to bring them into the automotive afterlife. see you there!
Few years ago who knows where it is now but i used a carbon seal turbo and a webber sidedraft the turbo was a t3 flanged t25 closest application is a isizu npr diesel
Its actually got a 4” stroke again the destroked engine really make good power up top but not the most tourqe in the mid range. The 6.0 crank makes power everywhere and still loves 7500
What about handbrake canoe? Did you installed old، one or there is upgraded cable? I already have c6z06 1991 corvette. But need solution for the HB cable, any idea guys? help.
I'm sure that the pride in the machine that you rebuilt from the ground up, doing the job it's made to do, helped ease the backache at least a little. Orange Crush is by far the coolest and most unique machine I've ever seen on RU-vid. I'm looking forward to whatever you get into next.
Yeah it was well worth the effort. Its got so much character. Its made to do some hard work and respecting its limits is wise. Thanks ill see you there
Awesome stuff. The old iron lives again, again! Hopefully that blown head gasket didn't leave Mr Crush too much worse for wear. I'm sure your back was feeling just dandy after all that, I'd be laid up for a week with that solid seat mount. Keep up the excellent work, I really enjoy your uploads. I fired up a new to me international 345 the other weekend, got it for free and shes a runner! Leaks oil like a sieve, but that can all be remedied. Also started work on a motor swap in my grandfathers bullnose ford, got videos up on those on my other channel. Was gonna drop a 460 in there in place of the tired old 351m but plans have changed. Gonna be unique that's for sure. Video in the works on that development. Might be changing channel names on the other one because someone else has basically the exact same name even though I searched it and got no results previously. Frustrating but oh well. Anyway, great to see the orange machine plugging away, and to see you keeping it on the move. That new cutting blade seemed to help quite a bit! Impressive little machine.
Thanks and im glad you enjoyed. Very difficult to film a small dozer that moves very slow. I think the head gasket failure steamed the oil into jelly and that may have starved it a bit. At some point this engine will fail but if i can squeeze 20-40 hrs out then that makes it worth it! Good luck with the 460 swap. Advance the cam and youll have tons of power
It seems like some of your pushing that you are doing with the machine, it is in to high of a gear. I would suggest put it in a lower gear if it has one. Just a suggestion
That is first gear. A full blade of dirt and rock weighs as much as the machine itself. It is geared to prevent parts breaking. I am operating at half throttle because of the rocks if the ground didnt have icebergs i could really go but not here
Awesome job I had doubts about that one. There was a mini dozer in my grandmothers driveway it sat there so long it sank about 4" into the pavement lol Cool things they are
This on the C4? I have that same color in mine. Fuuuc*. I swear- GM made these interiors out of milk jug plastic lol. Whats even worse is they used these darn rivet screws on the door panel lol.. so having to fix anything in the door requires cutting and removing these lol. After the the second time of taking them off-- I bought some 4mm/ 5mm plastic interior retainer clip things. Good luck friend! Gotta do what we can to get 'er done!
@@MilitaryMatters1 yeah on the burnout car its getting all dolled up. They come right out if you can get a bite on them with a slot. Cant wait to see it all mint
I see you added the Van Steel Camber cross tube to the front as well. I am looking to add that this year. My engine is a BP CT396 with a Mini Ram II and a Fitech control computer. Still dialing her in.
@@petercermak1910 yeah it helps once tires get sticky, i bet thats hard to keep cool all 396 cubic inches. Gee wiz thats a big small block! Fitech can be finiky, this runs a aem infinity that works well
It's great to see the old girl doing what she was intended to do. That lope needs addressed tho, she should run smooth and strong. Yes I know it is gas but that miss ain't right.
Word of caution. Keep those clutches adjusted religiously. Rockford clutch discs are insanely expencive, if you can find them. They also need to be half buried in oil for longevity.
@@cecilkoselke7878 im aware of the rarity. As soon as i knew it slipped i adjusted it. Only took two notches to get full grip so i can see how they wear slow but need to be right. I have non detergent sae 30 in it and it seems to be fine. Thanks
@@skip7243 its got some hard work ahead of it. Its been really cool learning how to use it. You play by its rules and everything will be fine! Thanks its been rewarding to have completed the rebuild and documented it for others to enjoy
