I gotta say I agree with what others were saying. Munguia brought the pressure but canelo carried him. Canelo could've easily gone for the knock out but let munguia survive.
True, Canelo could’ve knocked Munguia out, but had to conserve his energy so he doesn’t gass out. Elite level boxing isn’t forgiving of even minor errors. You stick to the game plan as much as possible. I doubt knocking Munguia out was Canelo’s main gameplan.
