Hi, I would like to ask if which is better to use RAM for ROG STRIX G531GT i5 9300H: 2 x 8gb ram = 16gb ram 2666mhz CL 15 or 2 x 16gb ram = 32gb ram 2666mhz CL 19?
@@xyrockgaming It shouldnt matter with your computer :) Sry its taking so long to reply. On vacation past couple weeks and im only checking my laptop once a day :(
No. In most cases, this procedure will not reset your BIOS password. For that, you would need to locate the jump point on the motherboard. Not all motherboards have them, but if yours does, you can reset the BIOS password by shorting out those two points. Due to the high risk of 'bricking' your computer if you don't do it correctly, I do not provide assistance in locating those points on this channel.
I won’t ask you to explain exactly how… but does this specific computer have these points? I’m considering taking it to a professional. Thanks for your expertise!

Hi, I upgraded my wifi card (a wifi 7 intel model), but it then stop booting. Once I unplug the card it boots again. Is there any security bios function I must disable?
Can I switch out the power button? I’ve use it for 6 months and it completely stopped turning on after a bit If you know anything about the power button or how I can turn it on plz lmk I’ll greatly appreciate it!
Yes, the power button is replaceable. However, if your computer isnt turning on, there may be other reasons for it. Can you try the troubleshooting steps seen here? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kOBY4k2Mn_k.html
You just contacted me here :) What brand and model computer do you have and whats the issue with it? Also, did anything happen before this issue appeared? Liquid spill, overheating, Windows update, etc?

I have a nitro 5 9th gen i need help willing to pay money cant get into the computer forgot my password i been away for over s year and forgot the password 😢😢
Unfortunately, I dont assist what that operation on this channel as most new computer techs run a high risk of damaging their motherboards attempting it.
Some motherboards have a jump point where you can reset the BIOS password if you short out those two points. However, that is a risky operation and you run the risk of destroying the motherboard if done incorrectly. For that reason I choose not to have those DIY videos on my channel. Sry :(

@@jamminpcs ok so I pulled it out n put it back In after waiting 10-20 minutes, still a black screen. I know it’s a bios issue because I was messing with it and I saved changes now I have this mess. What could the problem be I unplugged the CMOS battery, not sure where I would short it tho
@@MtOwlest If its a BIOS issue, BIOS may have to be reloaded :( Messing with BIOS can be risky as if done wrong, you can 'brick' the computer so I dont have many videos on how to reload it. Have plans to buy modern high end gaming laptop by the end of this year to replace my outdated gaming pc with storge capacity around 2-3TB so my question is there limit on NVMe slot size wish to buy 1 stick of NVMe 4TB but when ever look in descriptions and specs says up to 1-2 TB is upper limit and for gamer like me 2TB is 95% of my current usage...
thank you I have Lenovo idapad 3 and I did not use more . the battery charge cycle is 34 times. i got report from windows and capacity of battery is 45000 mwh. also I have an error for update bios , I can't update because the battery should have 30 %. how can fix that ?

Sorry, not sure if I understand the question. There are two ports for RAM. So yes, you can add a stick of 16GB RAM to the second port if you already have a stick of 16GB RAM in the other port. Yes, you can have 2 sticks of 16GGB RAM, one in each port.
@jamminpcs what I meant is "can I add another bar of RAM alongside the stock one? or does it have to br the exact same brand for both of the bar? ty for your reply btw
@@Pok4nov4 The other RAM does not need to be the same brand, but its always best to do so in my opinion. Sometimes they dont work even when they should so I always make sure its the same brand. Hello my CMOS battery connector. The white connected to the computer broke off. How would I connect? Where do I find another connector? This is the piece that the CMOS battery goes into when I removed it. It broke off. Can you help thanks.
The white plug that connects the wires to the motherboard broke off of the wires? If so, you should replace the CMOS battery with one like the one see here in this list: www.amazon.com/shop/pcmonkey/list/151Q0TXYMND7O?ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d

Got any tips on how to stop a similar laptop from thermal throttling? Ever since it came that playing games on it has been problematic since my FPS keep dipping into the single digits and are very unstable. Using Throttlestop, I was able to see that this coincides with my CPU's power usage also dipping into the single digit watts of electricity usage, about 7 or so. Those holes in the top corners of the battery pack should have some 2mmx4mm or 2x5 screws holding it in. I don't remember the exact length, but it IS normally screwed in.
@@jamminpcs So, mine just got loose and started to "walk around" inside my laptop. The problem is my laptop is only 20 days old, and this hapened. Retail worker where i purchased it just taped it back with double side tape. I didnt knew that was practice in this case and i wanted to push for warranty. Now i know this sounds stupid cuz obviously its meant to be that way so im still meditating over the fact that i have my laptop only 20 days and this happened. Should i pursue warranty? Sorry for long com and probably bad english
@@identifikator4 The computer shouldnt get hot enough to melt the tape. Most computers have the CMOS battery held on by double sided tape. Is yours falling off? Are you using correct tape?
Did you listen to the audio on the video? You dont need to remove batteries before replacing things in the computer, but its a good idea to at least unplug them to get as much power out of the computer as possible. This makes it safer to operate on. However, as stated in the video, the battery plug had so little room to play with, I could not unplug it without removing the actual battery.
I have asus g531 gt and I’m stuck on the airplane mode light when plugged in and I can’t boot into bios or even windows. What could be the issue? I am sure theres no hardware damage. I’ve tried swapping rams clearing battery resetting battery. Is this a cmos issue?
Are the lights the only signs of life when you turn it on? No motherboard or hard drive sounds? No fan noise? Nothing on the screen? Also, did anything happen before this issue appeared? Liquid spill, overheating, Windows update, etc?
@@jamminpcs airplane mode light comes on only when plugged in, no response whatsoever on battery power. I can hear the hard drive spinning when charger is connected and as soon as i remove the charger the hdd stops, cpu and gpu heat sink gets warm to touch after some time. I installed new cmos battery but same issue persist. Seems like a hardware issue, earlier before I didn’t do any updates or anything. It happened randomly in the night.

First of all, thank you for your effort what you put in this video! I would ask your help. I have a lenovo G50-70. the wifi card is loosing connection sometimes and I was thinking to replace it. But I got the question in my head, is that possible to put a better wifi card into the laptop? Is there a better stronger one? If yes, which one? Could you please be so kind to help me, what to choose? Thank you in advance!
Thx :) Unfortunately from what I have read online, people who attempted an upgrade from the 2.5 to the 5 didnt see it work :( Seems like everyone stayed with the 2.5GHz. Sry :(
